I had a call from the Travel Channel today asking me if I was prepared to go on their show live (through the phone) on Thursday as they liked the question I had asked. (trying to recall what I said! )...

I know I entered a comp which had the criteria of asking a question but I can't find it. I don't think I've won anything but kind of exciting that they liked my question!

I was in the middle of Co-oP when I got the call and was so excited I was like this :j:j:j

I got the same phone call two weeks ago. The competition we entered was to win a large cream egg easter egg but I was told the draw had not taken place but they had liked my question and wanted me to go on tv and talk to one of their presenters. As i was at work at the time they wanted me to go on air i could not do it.

I hope you have won one of the eggs - i guess i didn't as have heard nothing further from them

Some years ago I bought a magazine which listed all competions open. I am wondering if this still exists, and what is it called now?

Think that I used to buy one called Competitors Companion but that was a long time ago. It wasn't available at the newsagents.....think that I ordered it direct.

I've got the lady who runs it on my twitter feed so I know about it through there.

there's quite a few of them..but all the comps are always on here for free

i used to have 'simply prizes' for a while but tbh half the magazine comps inside majority of them have all the comps that are on here anyway

Thanks; I think the egg one is over but that's OK; just pleased to have been picked and I actually would like a reply to my question...now, if only I could remember what it was :rotfl:

I have to admit I agree with Korky on this one,I'm a member of most of the comping sites but think I'm gonna start ending my subscriptions as most comps are on here for free.
