I think jools is saying that as this is one thread with lots of questions being asked in it, many of them are getting overlooked and that it would, perhaps, be better if there was a sub-board where each question would be a different thread and wouldn't get lost among the discussions.

Yesterday I must have entered 50 + competitions!!! what are my chances of winning i could really do with winning something right now!!

i enter 150+ everyday and all iv won so far is chips! lol. it's really down to the luck of the draw

Put it this way, I think that it's likely to be pointed out that 50 comps is very few indeed and that your chances of winning depend on how many other people entered those 50 comps and then that would result in some very complex answers based on probability...LOL Also it's going to take a while for the closing dates to come around etc.

But essentially the more you enter, the greater your chances of winning something. But there are many more knowledgeable people than I on this subject. The above thread is a good place to start though.

They do say patience is a virtue and it can be so frustrating with comps as it can be months before you win anything or you may just strike lucky on the day.

I started off doing aprox 50 per day now its about 100 or on a good day 200 but I only enter for things I want or can get to otherwise for me personally I dont think there's any point but I've had people say to me do it and flog it but that's not for me (oh did a sell scooter to a friend as hubby now is in a wheelchair so cant ride one).

You have to keep plugging away and keep you're fingers crossed and be happy for the small things that you win as I do. I know it's hard seeing some people win and sometimes it does seem that it's the same people but oh well your time will come well that's what I keep telling myself and really it's just for fun and in the end if you win something whatever it may be and it hasn't cost you anything to enter then that's a plus.

I can see what you mean but on the other hand Velvetgloves comping guide would answer quite alot of them?

Where do you guys manage to find 150-200 new comps per day? I only ever manage to find around 40-50. Thanks.
