Hi NID,
I requested a true copy of my credit agreement from Littlewoods on 15/2. They replied on 26/2 saying they couldn't locate a copy of the exectued agreement and supplied the Terms & Conditions "for this type of account".
I replied on 1/3 putting the account in legal dispute stating that until they send me a copy of the credit agreement no payments will be made. They replied 16/3 saying they will contact me when a full investigation of my concerns has been made.
What do i do now & how long do i give them to respond?0 -

Happy needle hunting lol
Will send the final letters to the others today as all exactly as i said
MASSIVE BIG THANK YOU0 -
sorry if something like this has already come up or its in the wrong place but i just dont have the time to go through all 37 pages and i really need some advice as soon as possible if anyone would be kind enough
a good few years ago i sent martins template letter off reffusing all debt to a collection agency and did receive a letter back saying they didnt have any proof basically and all ties with the debt had been dropped
today i have received a phone call from a new collection agency saying they have brought the debt from the original creditor and they expect me to start all over again with them if i want to disregard the debt.
now as its been such a long time i dont think i have the original letter i received back unfortunately, i can get the hard drive off my old laptop which will have copies of the originals i sent them but obv thats not proof i have already been through this.
the woman on the phone this morning said they are not interested wether i have alreday had this dealt with or not and not to bother enclosing the originals but surely they (the original creditor) has breached the terms about harrasment as i remember the letter saying along the lines of 'not to contact me or come onto my property etc'?
any advice would be very greatfully received
thank you0 -
shame that I suppose it only comes under the CCA if their view you have defaulted and it's in effect converted into a loan. If it is informal though can they ever take you to court over it?
It is informal meaning that it does not require any agreement, of course they can take legal action. Basically with an o/d - pay it or do a runner lol :rotfl::rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
