I assume you gave them the runaround and failed security etc?
got a reply back from crap 1 after sending CCA Query long letter but saying can confirm to you that your credit agreement complies with the consumer credit act 1974 and is in the correct format. then goes on to say i must now inform you that any further contact we receive from you on this subject will be acknowledged but we will not enter into any further correspondence.

Hi Niddy,
Looking for some advice on all things default notices if possible please?
Checked my credit file and Amex defaulted me last year for £5 on an account that was closed years ago (had gone to a debt collector and been paid and on a zero balance). Didn't receive any default notice and the first I knew of it was when I checked my credit file like you told me to. Now, I have loads of default notices on the file, and honestly don't think I have ever received a proper notice from any of them, but this Amex one really annoys me as I honestly think they might have done it deliberately (then again I could just be being mega paranoid) after I claimed back bank charges via FOS. They are just ignoring my letters about it, so not sure what to do next.
Also, just wondered what (if anything) to do about default notices in general. I think if they were like 5 years ago, it is best to ignore them. But in the course of sending CCA requests and finding out accounts are potentially unenforceable would I try for default removal for accounts defaulted recently, say in the last 2-4 years? Just want to check I am doing right thing.

Just wanted to check you'd got both of my emails.
I put my username in the subject line, but I've been having email issues lately, so wanted to check you'd got them.

Hiya
Yes I did get several emails but to be honest when i'm at work I don't like downloading things (obvious reasons) so I do things like that from home....
