No - not yet, it is a threat at the moment, you should therefore pay March and allow them the 21 days so you'll know whether to pay in April or not... :p

I know that means paying moorcroft which defeats the purpose of the letter, but i'm assuming it's a DD - right? Is it? :D
yes it is on direct debit so ill leave it thanks again

OOPssssssssss sending you a tenner for the borrowing

    1. Why are wasting a tenner sending a SAR?
    2. What are they asking for?
    3. Have they been communicating with your hubby in the past at this address?

Righto, well to cut a long story short, it was because the credit card is with rbs but also a bank account of some time which had linked a previous mortgage and we had issues of an endownment, but this week that hopefully has been resolved and i thought to send the sars to get all the info on all the accounts held including the credit card;)

Yea - heard that one before  Send the letter below...

You mean they have said they'll do what is legally required - no? Surely they won't (sarcasm flowing Niddy!).... :p

Welllllllllllll patience and time will tell i guess

DO NOT sign anything - me suspects they want a siggy for strange reason

me tooooooooo - and i will stick to my guns on this point dont worry

Letter to send is here (from post 1047) :D

Will do thanks and we shall see if they bother to read my original whole letter before sending out a clearly obvious template letter reply to me again:mad:

will let you know when i get their next reply cheers over and out until monday and you are right nothing that important is going to happen til then so everyone Dont Worry Keep Happy

I seem to be about two weeks ahead of you. This is what I got back from letter template 3.2

NID's done a nice letter for that too - a few posts down the page. Will be sending that tonight.

    Jim
In contrast, I'm in line with you :)
And I am going to use the same (tailored) NID's letter you mention.

BTW. Thanks for upload in your post #1041.

Hi NID,some time ago you helped with getting defaults from Egg removed from my credit files, worked a treat with the template letters, checking again on Equifax and Call Credit, found one from Paragon Personal Finance(Chatham),did not know who they were, was showing YEARS of defaults although settled years ago, again, using your templates, they have removed all of them.Thank-You once again.

    Well, well...
One of the biggest banks in the world has responded to my CCA request.
What they've sent me is (I believe) 99.9% unenforceable as it is an application form with no prescribed terms.
This is not a photocopy, but a reconstituted agreement (as they call it in the cover letter) with header: Credit Card Request Form....
Basically, someone has printed out application form then filled it in with some details by hand writing (pretending to be done by branch staff, eh?)- no date nor signatures nor credit limit (OK, they can go away with it...).
But, and it is a BIG BUT, they put there the address I actually lived at but for a very short period of time (3-4 months). I rented room with all bills included, so no proof of address on my name at all (including bank statement) at that time. How I was able to apply for credit without any sort of proof of address?
Now, is it a forgery or not? Surely any application would have been rejected with address details not backed up by any sort of paper. (?)

Also a funny (or sad) bit is the last sentence in the letter from them:
Please find enclosed a signed statement of account validating any debt outstanding.
And there is indeed the copy of last statement stamped on first page: For And On Behalf Of....
Since when stamped signature of bank's employee does validate any debt? Am I missing something obvious here?

Do they really think/believe that they are law unto themselves?

I have been on a dmp since May last year, one of the people I owe money to is NEXT directory, they originally accepted the reduced payments & stopped interest but today I have received a letter from a Debt collection agency saying next have now instructed them to recover the money (£724) outstanding on my account, and I need to pay it immediately or they will take legal action which could involve an attachment of earnings (not sure what this is) with present employer or an application for a warrant of execution by bailiffs against goods owed.

I havent a clue what any of this means & am panicing big time!

Someone on another thread told me it would be worth requesting a CCA which could 'send the debt agency packing'!
    Can you advise please?

    Thanks very much

Did you see this bit: "Cabot has suspended all collection activity until such time that the relevant information is supplied to you."

That to me suggests you sit and wait, course you do not send anything - they've told you they are not collecting - its unenforceable - leave it and move on....... :D

Hiya yes email me them as I don't care about personal info - lol, sorry you know what I mean - I see hundreds of agreements and personal data - I struggle to remember one person from the other on here let alone their real names! haha

But seriously, i've PM'd you my email address and in there attach images whatever and put your username here, in subject line cos I do get a lot of emails sadly enough!

    Cheers :D

    Hi NID,

Hope you had a good weekend.

Sorry to give you paperwork to come back to but I sent you an email with the above info.

Also I finally got a response from Style, I've emailed you what they sent and I'm sure it's not the right paperwork but if you could check and let me know what response to give them.

    Thanks. :o
