TPA Veggie or Ham and Mushroom??? On its way om nom nom......

SmlSave the sun has his hat on hip hip hooray!

Hope all OK and enjoying this luverly weekend :D (although its doesnt count as I have been at work today....) Have made my first OP of £101 today which takes the mortgage to £53999 :p officially there now! Have also put £100 into the Willie fund and £50 into my spends account. Looks like April could be a good month for me so will OP as much as possible.

HOWEVER every silver lining has a cloud. Had Vet (the One Who Has Needles) out yesterday to Old Horse for an MOT for his painkillers. His heart murmur is worse than it was 8 months ago and as such will probably end his life and just give out. No warning. So I could go to feed him in the morning and he would have gone overnight. This is sad, but I would rather that than have to make any kind of desicion for him... :( He's one of lifes gentlemen but I just wish he would last forever. He's not in pain/distress etc I just have to treasure every moment I have with him. Danny has no such problems and The One Who Has Needles is chuffed with his weight loss. Old Horse is off in his holidays tonight.... I have given Mum a list as long as your arm with instructions!

DansDad goes to pick up his new bike tonight he's excited bless him. He's bringing it home so I can have a go on it tomorrow :D Danny off for his 'education' in the morning poor baby so I get a 'lie-in':eek: The last one was 6th January:eek:

I have a huge bill now to pay The One Who Has Needles £213!!! For an hour!!! eek! At least they're bloomin worth it baked beans can get a bit repetitive in more ways than one.....

Yes thank you TPA I hope so too. Its never easy with any animal, but horses take SO much looking after day after day after day and cannot cope without us at all so its all really big with him. We're very lucky to have had him as long as we have, as horses his size tend not be much more than mid twenties when they go..... :( The One Who Has Needles says it'll be quick he'll not know anything about it...

Anyway Mum (she who must be obeyed) has a new job in Bristol, other side of the country to us, in some covert location (sounds brilliant) but apparently if she finds the office then they'll have to shoot her..... *shrugs* :D So I'll be left to it for a while...

Danny Boy is now deep in his education with the 'The One Who Knows'. I went to see him yesterday and feel about as big as a dustmite after watching her ride him and of course he was very good and tried very hard and looked very beautiful. Pah! Although I swear he blew a raspberry at me when she wasnt looking!! So anyway he'll be there for next week also so I have all this time on my hands!!! The lie in was nice but only managed til 730am but that'll do.... :D

Have paid off The One Who Has Needles phew and had my home insurance renewal through and have finally managed to get it somewhere else (home has had problems so has been a minefield getting alternative quotes) So renewal was £230.15 got it for £119.76 :D:D:D AND paid it one go so technically saving another £20.66 a month.... Hell yeah!!!

Coo yeah will do, lovely part of the world..... One day our dream to retire to the west country.... I love the three battleships that made me chuckle!!!!

Its been an expensive 24 hours. Council didnt open up direct debit for council tax  sorted now but paid over the phone £109.50 this month.... DansDads car bombed its MOT big time. Hvae laid out £247.50 for parts today luckily we have a good friend who'll do the welding cheaply. The level of corrosion was indicitive of it being bad on the last MOT when we bought it last year so was ripped off by the garage. Too late now though    The problem is we rely on his car to do the towing/off road/heavy lifting stuff that Willie cant and with the horses thats quite a lot!

Long Suffering Dog has just had another cyst burst on his side so theres another vet trip this afternoon. Hopefully this wont mean another operation, He's alreast had one of those last year. Poor little boy :(

So small OPs today £50 off mortgage £53949 now and £50 to Willie fund. Never rains but it pours....

DansDad has also become more and more narky with me the last couple of weeks. I reckon hes got a bit of PMT or Male menopause although once I had paid for ther bits for his car he was a little more contrite..... :(

He did drop poorly Long Suffering Dog off to the vets today for operation... :( I hoped it wouldnt come to that but hey-ho as long as he's OK. I have to call at lunchtime to see how he is then pick him up later....

So I think that today will be another spendy day!!!!! Am surprised I still have money left after all this!!

    Phew.....

Long suffering dog is ok but has 4 cross stitches in his side, vey pretty at a cost of £117 eek! I got all the bits for the Landy for my lovely OH () at a cost of £250 (he did pay back £200 though) paid the house insurance in one go at £119 and the council tax at £109 for this month also a weeks shopping at £52.

Its been interesting having to rely on one car but OH has put some diesel in it for me and I'll bring my bike tomorrow to save on the fuel. My much depleted bank account will have to wait til tomorrow to get replenished as I'm waiting for money to pop into our work account first. I have been a money spending expert! I have also got a new mobile @ £25 p/m for 2 years, but with the amount of minutes free and texts it should be cheaper than my PAYG phone and I can use it instead of the landline so may save pennies there?

Another Willie payment made now standing at £680 so well on target for next June, may even be earlier :D I have been enjoying being horse free (is that bad?) Danny is doing well and I'll have him back on May 2nd hopefully. I was even offered all the tea in china for him the other day, which I turned down naturally!!! I have also re-homed cat number 4 :( who has gone to an elderly lady whos own cat died at Christmas so he'll be spoilt rotten. Was really sad to see him go but its best for him.....

I hope everyone well and enjoying the sunshine xx
