There is an outlet store in Salford Quays in the Lowry designer outlet there.

If you find something you have just bought for full price a couple of days before the sale started then you can buy the one in the sale and then take the other one back with the receipt as long as its within 90 days, then you get the full refund with the original method of payment.

Sorry, I should have explained better, they don't have any of the skirts in my size so I wondered if I could get my refund and then ask if I could buy the same skirt back. I don't think they will allow me to do this but my friend insists she has done it!

    Hi,
seems to be plenty of boys clothes (I was ordering age 3 - 4 in sale.)
Spent a frustrating hour yesterday trying to order on line. It now seems to be working fine so have just ordered next Summers clothes for my youngest as well as a great Bart Simpson dressing gown and slippers for my 10 year old.
With this and the Next sale I have spent over £500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who ever thinks this site is moneysaving is having a laugh but I still love it .
    Regards

Hi, somebody else asked this same question a while back and the answer was, no you couldn't. Can't remember why but seem to remember that the item couldn't go back on sale the same day or some similar stupid reason.

Have you checked to see if it's available online?
Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.

Thanks, that's what I thought and unfortunately it isn't online - perhaps I should take my friend with me!

However I returned an item that didnt fit, and watched as the lady behind the desk, remarked it with the new sale price and hung it on the sale rack in the store, within 5 mins of me returning it

so they do stick stuff back out immediately
See the stars they’re shining bright
    Everything’s alright tonight

Just been to local M and S, didn't buy much but the top bargain was super kids wall charts for a pound each - map of the world, flags of the world, map of UK, dinosaurs, nursery rhymes, skeleton (didn't buy them all:)

Hi, does anyone know if I can return a skirt bought last week ,which is now less than half price, & buy it straight back please?

I didn't think you could do this but a friend of mine says she did it once without any problem.

The item can or will go straight back on sale, but M & S don't want customers re-buying returns. In theory if you were to just keep refunding and rebuying items as they are further reduced M & S would lose money. You just have to take pot luck in refunding it and hope you can catch the item as it returns to the sales floor to rebuy it. That could be almost immediately, a day later or several days later depending on how much stock there is to go out and how many staff there are to work on it. Hope this helps.
