  • A boring day today for me I'm afraid. Unfortunately I didn't win the lottery last night so it's been another NSD for me. Bank account looking pretty sick at the moment just enough money there for the standing orders tomorrow. Have got a few bits and pieces left to come i.e. pet insurance refund, barclaycard money and also my monthly allowance off OH. Once those hit the bank account there'll be a few more payments to Studio. I can't wait :)

  • Thanks Red, feeling a little down today, it's Bank Holiday and I've got no money to go anywhere. How on earth did my life come to this? Couldn't even afford a KFC :( Had a cheque off OH last night which needs to be paid in but there's always so much I need to pay out of so little money. Would kill to go out on a massive spending spree today :(

  • Am still on the debtbusting front. Have decided to make Studio a full and final offer of payment of £98. Will post the letter tomorrow and hope and pray that they will accept. Have decided to concentrate on the Next account until I receive a response.....

  • Business and Admnistration Red. I haaven't got time to spit so why I decided to take on another 18 months of studying is beyond me.

Have just checked my Halifax account and I'm left with £1.79 :( I also noticed that I paid one bill twice for this month. When I paid it online there seemed to be a problem and they told me to try again and tried again and now it's been paid twice. That's £62 that could have stayed with me :( silly girl.

The Amazon sales were PS3 games that my son has completed, I didn't make very much money they only sold for about £2 - £3 each but it's another space on the shelf and a few pounds in the bank.

Still no payment off Barclaycard or refund on the pet insurance. These people take absolutely ages.....

  • I gave Barclaycard my Bank details last Wednesday and still nothing in the account this morning. Also phoned Pet Insurance last night, they have now marked my file as urgent and somebody will get onto it today. Fingers crossed I'll get that by the end of the week.

I know what you mean about education but I only signed up for the course because it was free because I work in NHS. Everytime I finish a college course I swear I'll never do another one and here I am eating my words yet again.

I see there's free listings on e-bay on the weekend and OH picked up a cooker hood for £4.50 from the clearance sale in Homebase a few weekends ago. It's brand new in the box and marked up at £99 so I'm going to see what magic I can do for him. Was going to list it tonight but think I'll wait until weekend.

Off to get ready for work now, hope all debtbusters have a productive day. xx
