There's also plenty of people over on HUKD ordering Nokia X6's at a ridiculous price too - and guess where? That's right Dial-A-Phone!

Curious how so many deals seem to be going wrong isn't it, and particularly when they stay up for days and days and....

What could they possibly get out of it...
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

I ordered a couple yesterday, and not heard anything yet, but was worth a punt. Reference numbers and screen prints filed.

    Still hopeful...

Edit: Just checked my Dial-a-Phone account and it says:-

Your mobile phone order is currently being processed and should be delivered on the agreed day. If there are any problems in completing your order we will contact you. We are unable to provide further information at this present time.

    Quidco is tracking at £70.00.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

I would say its on its way.

They normally only ring you if you failt the credit check for the company you have tried to get a contract with.

Being processed on dialaphone means there is no one at work till Monday when a human being will start checking orders and phoning or emailing people to tell them the bad news.
  • Watch out on how to claim the money back. If they send a cheque, or pay the money by BACS then it's OK. If they pay the money as a credit towards line rental (like they did with me a few years back) then it's not OK.

It took them 4 months to make a payment on one of my Vodafone contracts, and each time I chased them, they said that "according to our records, it's been paid, you need to check with Vodafone" Checked with Vodafone and, "Well we haven't received anything, and any cashback issue is between yourself and Dialaphone"

After 4 months including getting written confirmation from both Dialaphone saying they had paid up, and Vodafone receiving nothing, the credit finally appeared.

Another thing to remember, is send the claims by recorded delivery. Many of these companies have a convenient problem with Royal Mail, in that cashback claims get lost in the post.
  • even if dial-a-phone pull the plug on the order there is still a chance that the quidco or topcashback will track. I put in 6 orders with tesco mobile last November when I found an obvious glitch, they honoured none BUT last week I finally gained access to the £180 (£30/order) earnt through TCB!!:j:j:j
