It was just a mention of a mother daughter thing because Spud's DD didnt get onto a school trip to London. My DD had to take the slip for the trip to school on Thursday, first come, first served basis. She arrived at school at 7.20am but had to leave the queue because she felt so ill. DS ran to school with the form, but was too late. I told her I'd take her to stop the tears - both hers and DS's because he felt he'd let her down
