It is a shame because it looks like a great little business idea and had she run it properly she could have been a millionaire by now.

Mrs. Shoe and I are seriously looking at setting up the same thing ourselves as she loves kids and we know plenty of people who can do the biz with make-up and nails etc...

Obviously our version will be properly run.

jack the message should be the first thing you see on littledivaz.co.uk

i cleared my browser cache a few minutes ago and i don't see that message when i visit their homepage. i wonder if she only left it up for a few minutes and has now removed it?

either that, or i'm going blind.

I started the company back in 2006 when i was 17 years old and studying at college. It was so hard to find a job back then i created a little venture of my own.

an apology of sorts has now been issued:

"We would also like to formally appologise for any customers who have been unhappy with the services provided by little divaz uk and would also like to appologise to other people affected by the feedback that has been left on various sites accross the internet.

Although many of the statements are false we have no way of proving the information left on money saving expert and the abuse team are not responding to me regarding this matter.

Existing customers and previous customers awaiting refund will be informed by post within 3-5 working days about what is happening and how and when they will recieve their refunds.

Sorry for any upset caused by any event that has happened as a result of little divaz uk

yes - the waters are very muddy.

i am starting to suspect this may all be a smokescreen to throw us off the scent.

if she has genuinely stopped trading, she should remove all sites and redirect to a single page giving a definitive statement and full explanation.

must admit, my first thought was exactly that. I am sure she is hoping that this forum will just get bored and move on leaving her free to continue doing (or not as the case maybe) whatever she does.

From what I can see on the net CRB checking for party entertainers while not compulsory is advisable and most reputable looking entertainer websites seem to mention being able to show proof of the check. Not sure that its much of a reassurance though..

I emailed the bbc about this company weeks b4 this all started.

E mail i got back says.....

Thank you for your email, which relates to a BBC One documentary that North
One Television is producing for the BBC about birthday parties.

The production team did approach the Birmingham based company Little Divaz
UK but had decided not to feature them.

Little Divaz has been informed of this and they have also been asked to
remove the BBC reference from their website.

I hope this allays your concerns.

    Yours sincerely

Have followed this thread and just want to say, good work to everyone.
Theres loads of these pamper groups on facebook _ i'm unsure if this one is connected but the sight is down via the web address
    www.pamperedprincess.tripod.com
and there is a mobile number which connects to a lot of sights when you google it
    07736286540

    i don't think there's any connection there.
