Hi again, we can rule that out then, ok in control panel/network and sharing /change adapter settings what does it say under Local Area Connection please is there a red cross and anything else it says too eg what card is it ( might need to do a view / details )

:mad: I'm so embarassed. I tried unplugging the homeplug then plugging it back it and it worked. I am quite annoyed I didn't try it sooner but didn;t think it would make a difference :mad:
