Bumping this, as one or two new posters have asked if there's a sticky on frequently asked questions on cash ISAs.0

Not really a great candidate to be a sticky since it deliberately doesn't cover 42% by value of the total ISA market, the money in S&S ISAs.0

But it's useful for "newbies" who aren't interested in S&S ISAs.0 -
Reminds me of my last trip down the Bay of Biscay! More 'bumps' than enough.
It's a difficult one as to whether to keep bumping it or not ... obviously as it's more of an 'answering questions' thread than an 'asking questions' one, it's never going to have the volume of posts on it. But if you look on the ISA board, it has had significantly more views than other similarly-sized threads, so is presumably useful in that sense. Can't you get this made into a 'Sticky' ..... in the light of it's usefulness?
I did PM a moderator, who said that they'd have to ask the MSE Team for permission ... never heard anything else. Not really a great candidate to be a sticky since it deliberately doesn't cover 42% by value of the total ISA market, the money in S&S ISAs.
By the same statistic, it covers 58% of the ISA market, which is a very large number of accounts.
That's a bit like saying that the Basic Bank Accounts thread in the Current Accounts board shouldn't be a sticky, because Basic Bank Accounts only account for a small percentage of current accounts.0 -

Maybe it would satisfy jamesd if the thread was called Cash ISAs: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)?0
