Hi all,
does anyone use paper bricks for burning (paper soaked in water and then moulded into brick shapes and dried out)
i have heard of this process but just wondered if there are any opinions on this type of fuel?

A banker is someone who lends you an umbrella when the sun is shining, and who asks for it back when it start to rain.

My grandparents made those bricks - I think they started the practice in the war and carried on for years afterwards.
From what I remember they originally used them to supplement the coal fire - coal was rationed. I don't think they were a great success but worked if there was enough heat in the fire.0
