Hello All
The week has flown hasn't it! I have been mega busy doing my college course and thoroughly enjoying it too. This is my first meal plan but I want to use up some of the stuff from the freezer.
Sunday - fillet steak already cooked in pepper sauce and frozen (left over from a meal I made for friends two weeks ago), chopped up with added peppers and onions to make stroganoff served with rice and stir fried cabbage
Monday - I'll eat on the train back from London and will get out two ready meals from freezer for DH and DS
Tuesday - will make minced meat and split in two so chilli today with rice and corn on the cob and HM bread
Wednesday - jerk chicken in slow cooker with rice and peas and salad
Thursday - rest of mince in a shepherds pie with frozen left over mash (from same meal with friends), cabbage
Friday - HM soup from freezer, have a few, tomato, bacon and lentil, butternut squash and sweet potato, chunky veg, duck and veg (will decide which later in the week) and HM bread.
Saturday - will be out in pub (just about to walk down now to meet DH and friends after the football)
Sunday - fish fillets, rest of rice and peas (from frozen) and salad.
So from that I will only have to buy, salad, celery, milk, some cooked meat and a loaf (DS doesn't like HM bread for toast). Reckon about £10.GC Jan £318/£350, Feb £221.84/£300, Mar £200.00/£250 Apr £201.05/£200 May £199.61/£200 June £17.25/£200
