I've ordered from body shop quite a few times now and no problems getting delivered here! :) If they were to question it I'd point out that their site says 'deliveries only to United Kingdom' so we're included!

I did last time I tried it, which was two years ago, but they didn't understand that UK and GB are not the same thing :D anyway great to know you've had deliveries roxy, thanks

  • Oh dear I hope they have rectified the problems people had at Christmas where the orders were declined yet the money was showing as taken from their card

I had the same problem,if you make more than 2 orders in 1 day it automatically after clicksafe declines the order the bank thinks its a transaction so ear marks the money so the money is put aside until the named company takes the money BUTthe named companies 3rd party(whoever thy are:(???)is the 1 who has declined the transaction,so no money will be deducted from your account,i phoned the bank, sorry we cant do anything about it...the company who you made the transaction needs to tell us there is no order:(....body shop...sorry we cant do anything it was our 3rd party who diclined the order:mad:...ask you bank to sort it..:mad::mad:..now i was really mad!!! round and round i go!!!there is much more to this but is 22222222222 long and complicated but after a week it sorted it's self out....BUT....you will not be able to use the ear marked money until they put it back in your account...its in LIMBO!!!to make things worse it happened to me in another company, and was for a lot more than a £10 and i didnt know what was going on i thought i was doing somthing wrong,it ear marked £150.00 from my account!!!It's a good job i had the funds in my account or i would have been in trouble:(:(:(

SO IF THEY DECLINE YOUR ORDER DONT KEEP TRYING!!!RING THEM SRAIGHT AWAY FOR THEM TO OPEN YOUR ACCOUNT.....EVERY TIME YOU TRY AND MAKE ANOTHER TRANSACTION ITS JUST GOING TO KEEP YOUR MONEY IN LIMBO,AND MAKE SURE YOU ASK HOW LONG IS IT BEFOR YOU CAN MAKE ANOTHER ORDER....BECAUSE IT WILL JUST HAPPEN AGAIN:eek:

AND IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY ....YOUR IN BIG TROUBLE:(!!!

i hoped this helped and sorry it was soooooo long....happy shopping:D!

Gosh thats not a good position to be in. Glad you managed to sort it in the end and thanks for sharing you story, hopefully it will stop other people from having same problem. I knew from here that it was a problem if you made more than 2 orders but not to that extent!
Hopefully as they accepted an order seconds after they declined one for me yesterday, mine was a totally different thing and money hasnt been earmarked twice. I didnt have to phone them, maybe I was a bit too heavy on the fingers and clicked past the password screen without realising. Probably got a bit over excited with such a bargain! ;)

Does the order have to be over £15 to get free delivery. I have 2 shower gels, 2 vit E moisture creams and a hemp hand protector (ie 1 item from winter essentials 3 for 2) in my basket, and it's adding a £2.99 delivery charge. From the looks of this thread other people have done the same for a total of £10 after voucher, and therefore free delivery - how?

It only seems to have come up with the delivery charge since I went through Quidco, but other people seem to have gone through just fine.

    Any ideas?

Edit: Got it working. I closed the page, went back in without quidco, then went back to quidco, tried again and it was fine. That's mothers' day for both my mum and H2B's mum sorted for a total of £10 - thanks, OP! :D

buyers need to know about these things because i couldnt accsess MY OWN MONEY!!!and if i didnt have enough money in my account i would have been charged and neither the bank or the company said they could do anything so who is responsible???i was mad but not too mad because i had the funds not to be worried that £200 in total was ear marked by 2 diffrent companies but if i didnt i would be singing a very diffrent tune!!! I HAD TO WAIT OVER A WEEK FOR THE MONEY TO GO BACK IN MY AVAILABLE FUNDS!!!

i had a similar thing when we lived in germany having money held when funds were there except mine was a lot of money and left me and my hubby with just over 100 quid to live on! how it happened we used our card in a german cash machine same as any other day as we used to live over there he tried to take out 300 pounds and it came up with a error msg so my hubby went to a diff machine and tryed agen same thing happened, that same night he went to yet another machine one we used all the time and it did the same, so we contacted the bank we got the exact same story the money was in limbo the atm owner wasnt responsible neither was halifax we had none of our 900 pounds for over 2 weeks then it started to appear back 300 at a time. luckly we had family to call on to lend us some money but its frustaiting when you know the money is there. it happened to us 8 times in the space of the last 6 months while we lived over there however we learnt our lesson when it did it once not to try agen:mad: and to ring the bank, which it turned out was there fault! putting a barr on the card every so often because it was being used in germany (when they knew we lived there) so hence im no longer banking with halifax! had a number of probs with them!

no they didnt care not even a apoligy and it got on my t**s because of the amount it cost to ring them as ringing a 0800 number from germany wasnt cheap:mad: and the amount of time you spent on hold was a joke, also they could never answer the question why it only happened on my hubby account a current account and not on mine a card cash electron no thrills account we closed the accounts as soon as we moved back to the uk as we found there customer service shockingly bad
