Am chuffed, spent an hour this morning sorting out paperwork for my bruv as he had to go to court to fight eviction, he has spent the last 6 months trying to sort it out and just wasnt getting anywhere, so he went to court with the budget and paperwork that I prepared and explained that he had tried his hardest, CAB looked over all his paperwork and said that housing benefit have completely messed up and their solicitors want to look into it, so he has a reprieve and an appointment with CAB. Its a shame it has come to this, CAB computers were never working whenever he went for advice so no help, HB spent 4 months chasing their own tails, and his landlord would only agree to talk to him if he travelled the 240 mile round trip to see them

    AAww well done Fay!
  • Hi everyone,

    Today, I:

    - Found a great bargain online stockist for the food my cats eat, with free delivery too! Saving about £4 per bag on what Pets at home charge!

    - Heated up some of last night's quorn spag bolognaise for lunch and store cupboard dinner, so NSD.

    - Making time later to play about with the spending diary fay gave me link for yesterday to hold onto all those lost pounds!

    - Resisted my usual urge to buy a soap mag to find out what's happening next week - I will just have to wait and see next week!

    - Daily clicks done! Getting back into these again!

Have a nice weekend everyone and hope mogchops can take time to relax before her home is descended upon by little people rioting!
    :A2014 = my year for change!
:mad:Credit Cards are NOT my friends and I'm NOT playing with them anymore:p

    Evening all!
Had quite a good day today - lessons went well and the dream job for me has become available. I've phoned for an application pack and will fill it in as soon as it arrives - you never know - someone has to get it!
have also sent off for 2 more job apps and have sent a completed one back today (£4.95 special delivery for a bit of paper in an envelope!)

    Anyway, today's little list...
    • Took manky cheese sandwich to work for lunch instead of buying one
    • Drove carefully to try to conserve petrol
    • Put petrol in from the cheapest garage in the area
    • Walked dog twice for free exercise - one more to go
    • Freezer tea - plaice and chips, yum!
    • Will do some surveys
    • Will chcek banks (don't want to as I know its not good)
    • Have said I'll drop OH off to go out tomorrow and pick him up but not go myself saving money for me (not fussed about going anyway) and a taxi fee for him (wife of the year!)
    • Hoovered downstairs
    • Will clean bathroom later
    • Staying and watching the rugby tonight - COME ON WALES!!! (not hopeful though)
    • Have a sneaky bottle of wine on the go but much cheaper than going to the pub to watch it
That's it for today - roll on payday!
