    Hamsterwheel & Choc-addict! hello!,:hello:

DS is fine. He said 'whoop whoop' when we told him flights cancelled tomorrow and they couldn't get back till 27th. Have booked hotel on hotels.com = £10 each per night whereas booking direct hotel were charging £17 each per night. Need to call insurance company tomorrow to see if we can claim but also to extend cover for another week.

To top it all DS#2 came downstairs tonight clutching the handle from his bedroom window! more expense, when will it STOP!
I wish it would rain cash not ash!:T bye for now.

    Hi,

Feel like I am going backwards, or rather not as fast forward as I would like this week. Credit card statements show balance to be a little higher than I thought ( and i have no idea why!) and I have had to send £100 to DS#1 stuck in portugal as well. Means my target OD of £600 is out of the window and is £700 instead. Rang MBNA up to clarify my interest rates apparently I have a 0% promational rate on balance transfers into my current account. So decided to transfer £700 to pay off OD. This has cost me £21 to do (4% fee) but I think is cheaper than interest paid on current account every month. I will pay £100 a month (or more) to MBNA if I can to settle it before January when I would have to pay interest. I hope this works out ok. Snowball now showing more debt because I hadn't included OD in that! God this is so bloody complicated! :(

DFD has gone back to 32 months DEC 2012.

Hopefully can turn things around on payday. On a positive note I am taking DH out for a meal for his birthday. Saved the money and going early 2 for 1!
Also had hair cut and coloured today and looks very nice!!:)

    Have a good day everyone!

Sorry to hear about your son still being stuck! Any idea of when he will be able to come back??

Well done on the money management. We have a card with 15months BT at 0%. It has just over £1500 on it so £100 a month will clear it. Though with OH's paydrop we may only be able to do £50 a month for a little while and then make up for it on later months. Hopefully we can both do it before interest starts!!! :D

Enjoy your meal. I changed up £5 tesco vouchers for £20 prezzo vouchers to take OH out for a meal :D Just got to arrange a babysitter

Chin up....you are doing really well!

    Hi littlekel,

Good news I managed to get DS#1 on an earlier flight, he should get back lunchtime today! I am so looking forward to seeing him. I am going to write to BMI baby about there shocking customer service throughout this crisis, it's disgusting. Anyway, we are just relieved he should be home later.

We had a nice meal thank you. Hope you do too! I save the tesco vouchers as well but we normally use them at pizza express. Thankfully, we managed to get past the babaysitter stage a few years ago, I can empathisie with you on that one!!

Have a good day. I'm going to wash all the bedding this morning.

Glad your son is on his way home - not got children but can imagine that you have worried about him, especially being his first time away with friends abroad....bless him, a little more of an adventure than he bargained for!

I'm a Pizza Express voucher girl too - love the fact you can get so much for your tesco vouchers. In fact I have some to cash in, although may wait for May's to arrive before trading them in for a bit more ;)

Hope you have a lovely day! x

Pay Day Eve!! at last! Am totally skint, was 2p short in sainsbury's tonight so had to put something back, embarrassing or what?!:o

Hoping tomorrow brings good pay day and also that my SAR information arrives ( sainsburys say it was posted on 23rd). Then I can try to reclaim missold PPI.

Didn't do all tasks for this week, failed miserably. Did not loose weight, sort limo out and list stuff on Ebay. Try agin this week, better late than never. So for this week, I need to:

    • Pay Bills
    • Sort limo
    • Ebay listing
    • Letter to BMI to ask for compensation
    • Send will back to soliciter
    • Overtime sunday
    • Buy shoes DS#2
    Night everyone!
