I wonder if anyone is using Tooway satellite broadband and what they think of it?:)

Tariam are just one of many resellers of Tooway satellite I believe.

You do need to check out the different resellers because the price of the same service can vary considerably, especially with regards to the initial upfront cost for the equipment (you can save hundreds if you go with the cheapest reseller). I think Tariam are among the better priced ones.

I haven't used satellite broadband, but I do have experience of using WiMax broadband, which is not the same I realise, but I think it uses a similar technology, just the receiving dish is also on land rather than in orbit!

I was actually surprised at the quality and speed of just a 1Mb connection, and I'd been used to using Be broadband 'up to 24Mb'.

EDIT: I just had a look, and I think Ethnet are quite expensive, Tariam and Avononline are better priced. There does seem to be quite a few though, probably worth a spreadsheet!
