Orange France PAYG offers
Options
If you're going to France and plan on using a local PAYG - I used Orange Fr. Calls normally at an eye popping 55c per minute, however if you ring 220 (free) you can subscribe to one hour's communication and 15 texts (Fr only obviously but cross network and landline) for that day at 3 euros, deducted from your credit. There are also weekend offers.
Not sure how long these will last - especially as 1 hour pay monthlies in France can cost 25 euros and no free phone (mais oui!) but hopefully they will keep it going.
No end in sight to expiring credit though.
