Very impressive! I never find much in ours.
A nice M&S Linen blend wraparound skirt was my best ever find - I'd had my eye on it in M&S the previous summer and couldn't afford it, but I found one for a couple of quid in OxfamOfficial DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
I was soooo shocked! it was a charity shop that was closing down so they were selling everything off dirt cheap & it was just sitting there on the £2 rail!!
have to admit that it doesn't quite go over my 'ample' bust, but as im dieting, got my fingers crossed that it will do someday soon! and if it doesn't i'll give it to my sil & she will love me forever lol2011- new year, new start.

What a find - two of my better finds are a pair of Miss Sixty jeans - £3.50 and a John Rocher denim jacket for a £1!
I love charity shops...

Wow what a bargain - sad that the shop is having to close down though
I was in Oxfam the other day and a bobbly grey dress with a medium sized tear in the front was £20 :-/ I used to work in a charity shop so I appreciate the need to turn a profit but that seemed like madness to me! I found some decent bargains in the others though.August grocery challenge: £50
Spent so far: £37.40 :A0 -

The local oxfam here is a lot like that- they have standard prices for everything- i've seen primark t-shirts for around £3.99- they probably cost about that brand new!!!
have to admit, most of the charity shops round here are really good. as i'm looking for work i went hunting for some suits last week and got a 3 piece next suit for £10.99 and a dorothy perkins skirt suit for £8. they had some gorgeous zara suits in the same shop but sadly, no matter how hard i tried i couldn't get either of the jackets to do up!2011- new year, new start.

The charity shops near me are brilliant, it is a very wealthy area and all the local ladies who lunch are very generous and give away countless great clothes with the tags on! Oxfam seem to be consistently overpriced though, shame!

thank you- i'm still grinning and oh totally doesn't understand lol
have to admit, i do have to trundle through a lot of stuff, as we have a lot of pensioners around here so there's always lots of anoraks and beaded blouses/cardies etc, but i have managed to find some great bargains all the same2011- new year, new start.

I have to admit i steer clear of our oxfam shop as the prices seem rediculously high to me!! I do however have another few charity shops one of which seems to have fab kids clothes (5 for £1 and that includes Next etc) and I did manage to get a brand new pair of Bench trousers from one (tag said £70) for £3.50 from another one!!
Love them for books aswell............Emma

I once found a gorgeous John Lewis double duvet set for £8
twice through a good wash and it looked lovely on my bed.
