I'm struggling a bit if anyone can help I'd be really grateful.
I'm after a dress for my diddy daughter. At the time of the wedding she will be 19 months old (so need a 18-24 month size dress, I'm guessing).
I thought I wanted something really "usual" and simple, but I can't find similar anywhere at a sensible price.
I want a classic infants bridesmaid dress in plain ivory, mid-calf, fullish puffy/netty skirt and a coloured sash with a bow at the back. The wedding dress shop showed me similar and the dress came with a choice of loads of colours for the sashes, but it was over £160 and there is NO WAY I am doing that for a dress that is going to get crawled in, food smeared on it, dribbled down and probably put her foot through the netting before bedtime :rotfl:
We need the sash/bow bit to be pale sagey green. Don't mind if there are a few twinkles on the dress but overall plain with the detail being the coloured sash.
BHS do the colour, but the dress has big fabric flowers on and those suspended petals inside. My daughter would just go nuts trying to get them out!! I just want something plain, full, and with the sash detail.
Oh - and I can't order from Landy/Milly as they want exact measurements and I have no idea how I would do that being as though she has 5 months growing to do in the interim! Would prefer to just order an age size!
Thanks in advance.....0 -
