! I really want to know how much the Donna Lee Designs Alice dress is but I can't find it anywhere on the internet - other than on DLDs website - and they aren't going to say how much it is (I did email a cheeky email but they said to go to a local stockist - I've tried emailing them too but they haven't replied). I want to know whether it is feasible so I can carry on dreaming, or whether it's totally out of my budget and I can start dreaming about a different dress. I haven't been able to find it on ebay/preloved either (although my search of preloved wasn't particularly in depth)! Grrr!

This is the dress: (in ivory)

A rather odd request but I am looking for a bow tie cat collar like this: http://store.dapperdog.com/vipseries.html
But from this country and not too expensive and preferably a safety collar but thats not so bad as I will probably take it off before I leave the house in case her friends make fun of her (yes I am a crazy cat lady...)

My baby needs to look pretty too :)

Miss Pixie it may be cheaper to buy a plain black safety collar and find a farbric shop that sells black ribbon or bows and attach a bow to it with some elastic or glue to make your own collar. All of the ready-made collars I can find are made in HongKong, even if they ship to the UK. You could even customise the colour so that it's feminine for her (I read that she's a girl), or stick on some diamante to give her some bling.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Thanks yeah I have thought about doing that but I don't really want to add another thing to my list of things to make lol. Oh and she isn't exactly a she..I rescused her when she was tiny and hand reared her the vet nurse thought she was a boy it wasn't until she was 2 and had an accident the found out she was a boy when prepping for surgery but we still call her a she because we are used to it!

Hmm I like that idea might have to get a child's bow tie though a normal one would drown her lol and I would definately need to buy a new collar she shredded the one she got for christmas

Dear lord I just realised how insane I sound! I am quite normal really ;)

    Hello everyone :-)

I'm fairly new to the wedding forums and hope someone may be able to advise me. I've seen a lovely dress on ebay. The manufacturer/seller is in China. Am I right in thinking that many of the dresses from this area are copies of those made by one of the bigger name manufacturers?

This is the link to the dress I like, hope it works! I've done some browsing on Google trying to find it, but I might be barking up the wrong tree so to speak!

Any ideas or experiences? Thanks in advance :-)

    Hi,

I found this dress and loved it. I carn't remember off the top of my head but I think it might be Alfred Angelo ?? I loved it but my OH didn't like lace !

Becareful with china there are threads on here about buying dresses. I think if you do your research you might be ok.

I will try and find your dress, but I am sure there will be someone along soon tat is much better at it than me x

    Thanks, Afitos!

A thought just hit me earlier when I was looking at the dress. The blurb said the price doesn't include the crinoline petticoat shown in the picture. As I can't see any petticoats, I'm wondering if they mean they only supply the lace part off the dress and not the underneath part!

Guess I will have to post the question and see what they say.....and dash off to google Alfred Angelo!

    Thanks again x

Found it, Afitos! Thanks for the hint :-) It's style number 1774 in the Destiny Collection. Now off to google my local shops!

    You're a star :-)
