The 1st payment was meant to be taken out Monday, they were going to let her pay weekly so £45 odd a week. Ive postponed the payment til the 8th March to give her time to decide what to do (going to ring national debtline tomorrow for her) So will cancel once she's gotton the agreement letter. I hate ringing to cancel things coz they go on and on lol. He also had the cheek to ask me how my debt was  :rotfl:0

Just thought i'd update. When i worked it all out it turned out she'd only be saving £7 per week. And then the £30 she'd be losing from paying them. So I rang up and cancelled, which the guy did no bother (was expecting a fight)
In the smallprint it did say that they will charge 1 months fee (which in my nans case was £189) but because they hadnt actually started processing my nans case she wasnt charged (luckily) Hopefully my nan will have learnt her lesson after all that.0 -
Hello, im another one that was contacted by Debt Line and im stuck in what to do. When i was contacted by them i felt there was no light at the end of the tunnel with all my debts so i agreed with them and gave my details over the phone i was told it was £30 a month they would be taking then when i recieved a letter saying £61.50 a month and an agreed payment of £410 which i was happy with, when talking to my sister she advised me not to continue with Debt Line and we would sort it out our own way, now im stuck because they have took the £410 pound from my account on the 1/3/2011, however i never shared any of my account details of other banks with them that i have the debt with, i was sent a debt line card and log in details though. Would i get this money back? I was led to believe that if i didnt sign the permission form then they wouldnt be able to continue with my account now theyve taken my money and im completly stuck. Please can i have some advice to what to do, its all so upsetting! Ive written to them to terminate my account, but now what

Any advice on what to do?? Should i cancel for her?
Thanks
Hi I had a phone call from them the other day and thought it was a good idea but I got the paperwork this morning and even though u only pay 134.00 a month it's for 18months and end up paying loads back. My debt is 1,400 and I will end up paying back double0
