Why aren't Payplan recommended by MSE anymore?

    Im with angeluk, it wasn't till the other day did i read the post that PayPlan aren't recommended anymore, I believe CAB do still recommend them though as my ex-Landlord gave me details to pass on before i came to MSE.

    Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

    They were in a lot of people's signatures, but not sure about that article?

    archive.org isn't cooperating at the moment, so I can't check.

    I took them out of my signature when they started touting IVAs. They have always seemed just that little bit too fond of advising an IVA, but it's hard to say for certain with these things?

    End of the day, helping to get out of debt has to be a free service for obvious reasons, if they touted for paid business when it was not a suitable option, i don't blame you.

    I suppose they could have been there briefly, but I suspect not.
