Hey everyone!!!!...been a while since my last post!!
congrats on all the losses......keep it up(....or down!!!:D)
my weight been up an down this month....but WI today and ive lost 2lbs......so havent reached my target of 5lbs for the month......but hey im going in the right direction!!! i think the big contributer to weight loss is having to run for the train everyday this week!!!!:T i usually drive....but decided to take the train....it is a bit more xpensive to go by train but the extra im paying works out to be a gym membership fee!!! so im exercising going to and from work everyday!! whereas if i have a gym membership i KNOW i wouldnt go...id been making excuses......whereas getting to work i cannot have excuses!!!.........:rotfl:
so havent reached my target ...but a loss is a loss .....still im now 6lbs Lighter than i was at the start of the year!! will definitely be carrying on this challenge next month!!!
HAPPY WEIGHING everyone:beer:Losing (lbs) for ........a healthier future.......:)Saving (£) for.........a secure future.......:)

WI tomorrow, I have been disastrous this week (emotional eating because OH and I had a few arguments, also I lost the Prada badge from my favourite bag yesterday and I am still so upset). Not confident about WI tomorrow but I have a wedding to attend in a week and a half so really need a kick up the bum!

Tara747. in a week and a half you can do something. Do as much exercise/walking as possible and try not to eat anything that bloats you. How about getting your wedding outfit out and hanging it on the door so you see it everyday- it might make you resolve to be good?0

Oh good Lord, I haven't even tried it on yet! I last wore it to a wedding a year ago, it might not even fit! I must get it out tonight and try it on, then that will give me a massive incentive to be good! If the alternative is going to a wedding in jeans... :eek:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I tried on the dress. It fits (just) but is extremely snug around the bodice so I'll have to either be seriously good for the next week or not eat dinner at the wedding!!! I guess I'll have to be good then. Strangely enough, I hardly ever finish my dinner at weddings as it's usually not brilliant food... anyone else think this?
Anyway! I intended to go running after work but it's pi$$ing down here and I hate soggy trainers (blisters ahoy) so I dug out my step and did half an hour of intense stepping in front of Sophie Dahl's cookery show (soooo jealous of whoever owns that house and all its shabby chic bits and pieces!!).
I am pretty sweaty now, so will go for a bath and NOT eat/snack for the rest of the evening. I'm going to do more stepping every day this week, if I stay off the munchies as well hopefully I'll fit into the dress without having to suck my belly in!!! And that might give me the impetus to carry on.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

p.s. I just read this quote from a certain celeb whom I will name if you want, and OMG how much sense does it make!!! Weight loss really is 99% motivation...
I am quite high in the self-discipline stakes,” she admits, and her principal rule for keeping weight off is depressingly simple. “I always say, it has to come down to desire. You have to want to get into your small jeans more than you want to eat chocolate biscuits. That’s all it is. It’s no more than that. It’s just a choice.”

Is it Kate Moss? I remember her saying something similar recently and getting panned for it, which surprised me as I found it made a lot of sense.
Well done on the exercise Tara0 -

Liz Hurley actually. But KM's remarks were very similar IIRC. It just makes so much darn sense.
