    Ill take a picture of the trees later on faraway, from you post I imagine they are OK though as they have lots of branches on.

    The apricot is on the left, peach on the right. Sorry its the best picture I could get. Hopefuly you will be able to tell from this if I should prune them.

    The side shoots look a bit "whippy"

    I would prune these to half their length, to a bud facing outwards

    The leader [not visible in your pic], prune about 25cm above top branch, to bud facing opposite way to top side shoot [this will help keep trunk upright]

    This will cause all shoots to develop new side shoots and eventually give more cropping branches

    Do not worry about "losing" fruit this year, you should not really let them fruit this year anyway, but I know how tempting it is

    Prune April, or when buds are just about to burst, this will prevent disease entering wound

    The idea at this stage is to build up a nicely shaped small tree
    Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens
