  • Happy Birthday Millie - Hope you've had a super day..

Today i have banged my car on a post not concentrating properly. I am pretending it hasn't happened for a bit and will think about getting the repair priced up in a few weeks! Boo to posts in the way! ( my first bump in 15 years driving! grump grump)

I had leftovers for lunch and a healthy baked pot for tea so that was a good bit of DFW.
I've been to the bank to pay 270 off my loan - and the bank lady recognised me and said i was doing well paying more off my loan again... yey!!
I have done 2 hours overtime tonight as planned..
Really looking forward to finishing work tomorro for the weekend - have worked late every night this week and am feeling really ready to collapse in a heap and watch rubbish on the tv!!
Hope everyone has had a good day today! ( still haven't written to cancel the gym...i will do it this weekend - i will i will i will!!)

    Debt-free and Proud!
Hello lovely people and Happy Birthday Milly..

A quiet day for me MSE wise but almost a NSD until I bought a drink at 5pm in an expensive London bar waiting for someone..£4.40..yikes :o but other than that no spend at all..

Have also checked online banking..have gone into o/d...but getting paid tomorrow

Checked ebay listings - 7 watchers on 1 and 1 watcher on the other. No sure how I will reach my March goal but I wanted it to be a stretch!

And as I won't be able to log on tomorrow have scheduled an OP of £100 to go against the mortgage..so thats all to the good

    Night everyone

  • Thanks for that link fayjmck! That's what I'm needing to reign my spending in! I've started taking cash rather than a card because I feel that using a debit card is desensitising me to what I've spent - It's easier to forget what's been spent if I use a card, so cash is a better option.

I'll be playing about with that tomorrow and hope it'll make a difference!

Thanks again, Happy birthday to Milly and advance congratulations to catmiaow on your up and coming DFD! One day I WILL be you!!! xx
    :A2014 = my year for change!
:mad:Credit Cards are NOT my friends and I'm NOT playing with them anymore:p

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

  • Hi all i know a thread will be started for today but i'm up early well 2 hrs ahead to you guys. umm What are dailyscratchies and clicks.

i'm currently not working so am bumming around the house abit in a bid not to spend any money. Today is the 1st time in 15 years with no pay cheque eek. i;ve taken a career break to follow my other half to Cyprus with his job, and have also gone a DMP at the same time. All a bit stressful. But i shouldn't complain the weather has been better here than at home.

Any ideas for making money at home would be great.
    Thanks x
