Its not so much the colour its the type, there are 2 main types and they dont mix well together apparantly. Ethylene Glycol is one and I cant think of the other one off the top of my head (dont use it myself!). When the two mix together they say it can cause a chemical reaction which can have a knock on effect for other components, like water pumps etc.
I'm guessing you have bought that neutral stuff which you use for top ups and not full coolant changes.

I suppose it depends how much you have to top up and how often. Every time you top up with water you will be diluting the antifreeze and reducing it's effectiveness. You’d be OK if you topped up with water/antifreeze mix.

Also, water with antifreeze added will leak more than just water.

How much do you have to top up and how often?

What happens when you buy a used car and you go to top it up weeks/months along the line, how do you know what type is already in?

Lee if I bought a 2nd hand car and didnt know the coolant history, i would drain it, flush the system and then refill it with G20 coolant from somewhere like SFG.

You can buy coolant top up now which they say mixes with any coolant type which is what the OP has bought I think.

    Does it weaken the concentration?

The only time my coolant has needed topping up was when my thermostat wasnt opening properly and that was very recently.
