    Probably worth clarifying...
Is it antifreeze for the engine coolant?
Or are we talking about windscreen de-icing fluid?
  • as above clarification is needed.
  • Its not screen wash its for the engine coolant (which Im assuming is the water?) or is it something else. damn i feel so thick. so what im thinking is the antifreeze goes into the water pot?

Yes. Its purpose is to stop the engine coolant freezing.

I am sorry I asked for clarification, but obviously water is also used for screenwash.

yep, it does go in where the radiator water goes but you have to remove about 50% of the water before adding the antifreeze
  • My engine water needs topping up a least once every couple of weeks so it wont be long before i can put it in. Thank you very much.
I have heard your not supposed to mix colours of screenwash however the antifreeze i have bought says it will go with ANY colour of antifreeze
What are your thoughts on that?
