:rotfl:I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes the prospect of having to pay the extra isn't as bad as the thought of making the phonecall!!
Hope you are still managing to eat Woo!

Morning guys
I brought a new car yesterday on finance! Before anyone tells me off......
The petrol on mine is ridiculous (at least £250 per month) and the cost of my new car and the expected fuel costs amount to the same. Mine is starting to fall apart and cost me money as well.
I have brought a little Fiat 500, so not only will my fuel bill reduce, my insurance will half and the tax is only £30 for a year - compared to the £113 I am now paying for 6 months.
The APR with Fiat was only 2.9% - actually can't believe I got accepted!
So please don't shout at me, I promise I triple checked my budget and thought it through!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Hi Woo,
Actually I think that sounds great about the car - £30 tax for the whole year! Plus the fuel savings, nice one!
Jules
PS I love Fiat 500s, I have a wee model one in the house lol0 -
I think so too. Although, yes, finance is a bit naughty, if you will ulitmately make savings - which you will with those figures - the difference can go to Lloyds and then on the finance anyway! Thanks guys, it will effectively be saving me money and I will have a new car to drive - as opposed to just spending out the same on petrol!
My MOT was due in Sept and if anything major needed doing, I just don't have anything in savings to fix it.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

That's why you were so quiet yesterday!
It does actually sound like a carefully though out, budgeted decision that will save you money in the long run so I think it makes sense, so don't think anyone will yell at you.
£30 tax is amazing!
Will you add debt to your sig or are you going to keep it separate?Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Yep, I had my head full of cars lol!
Definately not adding it to my signature, won't even be viewing it as debt in my mind!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

£7.60 sent to Lloyds, this was actually unintentional!
I meant to transfer it to a friend yesterday and she just said it hadn't arrived, when I looked I had sent it to Lloyds instead lol!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
