Well done on the payment :)

Please please please can we have the end of Lloyds party?! :D

According to my spreadsheets they are supposed to be in my life till Jun 12 as I have the loan with them as well as the card, so I'll join you in the challenge of trying to rid them by the end of the year!

I have missed the point with vanquis - who are they?? I would be rejected for EVERYTHING! Can't even get the reserve changed to an overdraft so I don't see any point in applying for credit - If I could get a 0% balance transfer card though I would be SORTED!

Your on Bec's, I want us both to be celebrating the demise of Lloyds by the end of the year - that will be a wicked Christmas present!

Vanquis are usually for people with bad credit ratings, and the APR is something like 30%!

Funny thing is that if Lloyds kept raising their APR and I for some reason decided to stick with them (and not opt out) Vanquis would have been a better option for me!! Finally got exact figures for my student loan which actually shows I am worse off than I thought. I guess the good thing is that £8700 is currently at 4.4%, downside is that can go up soon (talk of it being at least 5.6%).
Debt at worst: £33000 (Feb 2011). Present debt: £25610 (Apr 2012)
    Lloyds old (22.4%) = 560 (Dec 2012)

Well done for ringing up and finding out the figure, at least you know what your dealing with now. Do you just pay a set figure to this? Will that change if the % goes up?

I got the Vanquis offer when I got turned down for an MBNA 0% - why did they think when I wanted a 0% I'd say no you're right, I actually wanted a card that's 40%!!! :rotfl:
