Hi Woowoo,
Love love love your diary! Have subscribed so I can keep up.
The small payments is a brilliant idea, I hope it annoys the hell out of them!
Gonna join you in doing this - I quite often lose motivation in between pay days and think this could be just the thing I need
Good luck in your journey xDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
I still laugh at the fact you make these small payments! I'm going to do this I think for every day this month, pay £1 off my Egg credit card!Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

Hi Beccie
The small payments are a great motivator and really help to maintain focus.

I am indeed!
After finding a lot of motivation from reading other people's diaries I decided to start my own a little while ago.
I am trying to shift a 24K debt in a year - my main job pays me 19K a year and then I am working doing as much extra as possible.
I know it's probably a daft challenge but I find I'm always much more spurred on by trying to do the impossible, I have no idea why!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
What other work are you doing Becci?
I used to do cleaning after my main job, but back when I was still in spending mode! I have thought of doing it again but remember how knackered I was!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

I also work in a pub and have two different cleaning jobs, it is quite tiring!
I promised myself that when I came back from Africa I wasn't going to do 70 hour weeks like I had been doing before I went, but good intentions and all of that, I've slowly been slipping back into it...
I am tired from it but always feel like I've got over the hurdle of the week by Wednesday afternoons! That's because Tuesday is my longest day - I work from 730 till 430 at my main job, home for a quick shower and something to eat and then to the pub, work 6 till 1230 up again on Wednesday to be back at work for 730, trying to keep my eyes open! Sorry that was a very me, me, me whinge!
But whenever I'm feeling a bit down from the hours I look at the money I'm paying off and most times that's enough
Seems like you're very busy with extras like leaflet delivering tooDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Oh my god, I feel knackered just reading about how many hours you work!
