Oh no, how annoying! at least you realised fairly quickly, not as bad as it could have been.

I find cheques really stressful, as some people hang onto them for ages before they cash them. I've been obsessively checking my account this week, as I had to write 3 cheques last week! :rotfl:Don't know why I'm so worried, as I know exactly how much is in there, and it's plenty to cover them. :o

I feel the same way about cheques. You may have the money now, but with 6 months to cash them before they return it's essential you know when they have cashed so you know when the money has actually left.

I had to send the cheque off in Jan and post date it for the end of Feb, as that's when they said they would cash it (and I wanted to make sure they couldn't do it earlier). I obviously meant to leave myself a note to remember to transfer the funds to my other account and just forgot!

    Hi HWG

The wedding is local, but it's just easier to stay over :)

I think it's nice to stay over at a wedding, it means you don't have to worry about taxis etc and can stay until the very end if you would like. Also cooked brekkie in the morning mmmmmmmmm!

    Hi Kat

The cooked breakfast is a definate bonus when you've got a hangover! All the guests are sitting down for breakfast at the same time as well, which will be lovely - but probably not a pretty sight lol!

    35p to Lloyds today.

    Well done on the payment!

The day after wedding breakfasts are great and it's lovely that you are all having it together. I remember mine, I took all my hair out of the pins (had it up for my wedding) - worst mistake I could have made! My hair resembled a large nest fit for an eagle!

That's a lovely thing to do LT, I imagine your wedding day is so crazy you feel like you haven't managed to speak to everyone properly, so it's another time to catch up x
