he had to swap a 12 hour day shift this week because of the windows and this is the only way they would let him do it. i'm hoping it's the only night he has to do as he likes the interaction with the residents so i'm not sure how he'll get on.

when we first got together i struggled to sleep because i was sharing the bed, now i can't sleep when he's not there, even if it's because i've headed to bed an hour before him cos i can barely keep my eyes open. Going to have to get over it tonight.

I used to be scared and sleep with the telly on all night, now the dog sleeps with me and I wear ear plugs so can't hear any strange noises!

I am so anti social sometimes, someone just rang our door bell 3 times but I'm in bed and the OH is sound asleep! It's bound to be for him not me, of course I'm dying to know who it was now!

I'm happy about being on my own in general, i lived on my own for a very long time before OH came along so at least i don't have that battle.

How did you meet your OH?

I met mine in a local pub that I never go in and only went there with friends as a spur of the moment thing that day, sometimes I think you can't argue with fate! I went home that night thinking I'm going to marry him, of course I didn't know then he doesn't believe in marriage lol!

i met him accidently online, i was chatting to his BIL and he joined the conversation. Three weeks later we met and like you i knew we would marry. We got engaged 3 months later lol
