Guys I have done it!

I am going sub £10k at the end of Jan, I can't even tell you how excited I am at the prospect of this. It feels like a real milestone.

I juggled £40 into next months budget. My Dad has just given me £25 Christmas Money, and I had the £10 for the dentist - so £35.00 sent to Lloyds today

Only 3 long painful weeks to wait to get there now!

I also agree on the no shame. Someone in job 2 said they throw their 1ps and 2ps away - I said for him to not do that and give them to me. He looked shocked and I don't care (hope he does)

I used to throw my copper coins away as they just made my purse bulge - now i've been known to pay for a sandwich entirely in 2p pieces!

I remember going out with someone about ten years ago who wouldnt deal with any coins - he would pay for everything with a note, then throw the change in a box. My kids cleaned his car for him once and he said they could keep whatever change they found - there was over £100! Bless him - he kept to his word, although even my kids were saying they didnt want to rip him off!
