we're just going to a local pub for some food, nothing more exciting than that, though it does me we've decided against going to the one in the works canteen.

    Lunch was disgusting!

I ordered chicken stuffed with brie & chips, instead I got dry chicken, a scraping of brie, roast potatoes and gravy.

If they had bothered to put the brie in, that would of been vile with gravy!

We complained and they told us chicken always comes with gravy? They went to speak to the chef and then never bothered acknowledging us again!

Someone else had a booking there on Monday evening, which they cancelled on the way out!

We did have a good old moan and giggle about it though :)

sorry it was so dissapointing. it's terrible the way they talk to customers, i guess they think they're above and beyond the influence of us all. I'm sure we'll be paying for our own but i don't mind, often i don't want to feel that i owe people anything. Too stubborn for my own good sometimes.

Our Christmas tree has just been delivered to work, going to skive off tomorrow and buy some new decorations for it as the boss is on holiday :)

I know what you mean about the not owing people anything, I hate the thought of people having anything over me.

My boss doesn't exactly know that the company paid, the Sales Director came with us and paid out of her departments budget!
