Champagne breakfast, now that's my kind of start to the day!

Our company head office is in York and I've always fancied a trip.

<slopes back in quietly> Lincoln Christmas Market is lovely and world famous! Well it's lovely if you don't live on the doorstep of it and they close your road and the surrounding area for 5 days ...... and you have to listen to christmas songs over the PA system constantly ....... and you can't get in your favourite pubs ...... and no one will deliver anything or come and visit you as they can't get near ........ and they erect the food marquee where you walk your dogs so they are constantly hoovering up yuletide fayre etc etc Roll on the first Thursday - Sunday in December - ho ho ho! :(:(:o

Passport came today, so no problem with the photos, glad I didn't waste another £5 redoing them.

Well, I didn't think I would need any influence but everyone on here has done a good job.... weeknds in St Ives and Ireland etc etc

So, hoping to have a weekend away in December and visit a friend in Munich and go to the Christmas Market. We should have cleared the Santander card by then and we think we can use our airmiles for the flights, so all we would need is some spending money. Depends on OH being allowed the days off though, so we'll have to wait and see.

Then skiiing in Feb but we can't decide where to go, think in total it will cost £1,500 each, which makes your £700 at Christmas amazing value!

£1500 each????? Where you planning on going skiing?? That's a huge price...

OH has had his appointment, the lump is just a cyst but there is some calcium build up that they will keep an eye on.

We have to wait for them to write to him, but nothing to worry about it would seem.
