Well, I am starting to make a bit of headway on March already. Have booked up 4 mystery shops so far and I have had an email saying that some amazon money is on its way to me so this should hopefully hit my account next week
I WILL make £10 a day this month! :rotfl:2019 will be my year!!0 -
In addition to selling on eBay I also sell my old babies and childrens clothes, toys etc at NCT (National Childbirth Trust ) sales. It is a charity so they take a commission. Depending on your local one it could be 25% or 30% plus usually a £5 admin fee for your seller pack.
I am doing my next one on 13th March. You get your seller pack in the post with labels and your seller number. Label and price up all the items you want to sell and take it to the NCT venue the morning of the sale and volunteers sell your items. You then go to collect anything that was unsold in the afternoon after the sale. NCT post your cheque a couple of weeks later.
I did my first one in December and didn't make that much as it was only toys/books as Christmas was looming but the next one I am doing includes practically everything so I expect my March profit to be a good one!
You don't need to be an NCT member to sell either. My mantra is "Never pay full price!"0 -
Hi All,
I would love to join for £5 a day. You all have thoroughly motivated me.
Just wondered if any of you had top tips, seems like a lot of success has been had over the past so if there are some tricks of the trade be great to hear them.

Hi
Am a complete newbie to posting on the forums, although have been reading them and getting some good ideas, so have decided it is time to join in.
Can I start with £5 a day please for March? This is such a great idea.
Can I just check, I am thinking of selling some used books and DVDs - any recommendations whether Amazon or Ebay is better bet for this?
Hi, Amazon works better for me - I make sure my listing is the cheapest and usually my DVDs, CDs and games sell pretty quickly. Also less hassle than ebay re payments, as buyers pay Amazon, and payment minus fees then gets transfered straight into your bank account. I've not had much luck with ebay, not much profit in it as everybody there wants a bargain (don't we all...)0 -
Just wanted to say hello to all our newcomers. Its great to see so many new faces, so to speak. Any questions just ask and we'll all do our best to help you.
Everyone has different reasons for doing this and different things that they include. For me the challenge is about putting aside every bit of money I make to pay off debt. I don't count things like bogofs because it doesn't make me money as such but lots on here do. I have amazed myself with how much I have made (see my sig) and my first month was November 2009. Every penny has gone towards debt and I have recently cleared my credit card.
So get stuck in and surprise yourselves.0
