Evening all - sorry to butt in but I would be interested to know which epson too, we have an epson stylus dx6050 but I cant print on thickish card.

Been for a little blog hop earlier - lovely cards (as always!!)

Also, subscribed to cardmaking & papercraft magazine today to take advantage of the Sizzix texture boutique offer - regretted not doing it earlier in the year - so when I saw it again - jumped at it. I know I have the big shot but this is like a handbag lol - and one can never have too many. Plus I am trying to justify it to hubby by saying that I will save a little each month on the magazine as that is about the only one I get each month - hee hee.

thanks wanna b - was typing as you posted (sorry) x

DH offered to do me a sub to that mag as well (I'm kicking myself for not doing it the other month when the £7.99 mag (the name escapes me) which comes with a complete kit of bits was running an offer for it - you could sub online by DD and take out the three month sub, but I ummed and arrghed for so long that by the time I went to do it, the offer had ended). Was it cardmaking and papercraft that we got the MME papers from earlier in the year? If so then I really think I might go for it.

This thread goes even faster than The Sewing Room one! Ill need to spend a whole weekend locked away reading it! Anyway, thanks everyone for such a friendly welcome. Im thinking of buying a die cutting machine as reckon I need one so I can get into card making properly (I used to try and cut shapes by hand and it just went horribly wrong which put me off!) I was looking at the Sizzix Big Shot... Does anyone know if this is the best one or have any tips/other suggestions? Ive seen the Cricut on QVC craft day but didnt think it looked as good? Thanks for any help you can give me! xx

Artydoll - great boxes - I love the little glittery flowers, and you card is lovely too.

Pootleflump - I've got a big shot and I love it - I haven't had it that long in fact I wish I had bought it sooner - I use it pretty much on every card that I make. Its really easy to use too.

Pootleflump - I've got a Bigshot too and love it. I choose the BS cos I wanted something that could cut thicker products like metal, wood and chipboard as well as fabric and card. A lot of the girls have Cuttlebugs which they love and I think DTB has a Cricut which she loves and few of the others have a Robo which they love.

    - have you seen the pillowbox die on the Sizzix site is reduced heavily (along with a few alphabbets and the XL Banner die?). They've also got some of the texturz plates at a great price. P&P is hefty, but if your buying a few it's worthwhile.

Thanks for the welcome back guys. The laptop is out of its box and back in business :j

I've missed so much but I've just checked out your tiles Crafty and they are fantastic. Oh I've missed loads - I will try to catch up on here and on everyone's b**** (is the B word causing problems again?)

Hi to everyone I've not met before (I've been AWOL for a couple of months) so if I'm not already following your blogs can you point me in their direction (my blog pic is a tiger)

Re the printer question - I've got an Epson SX515W and I think it's great (once you get it to play without your firewall mucking it up) SNAP wanna-b
