Evening - congrats to the latest 'winner'!!!!

I had a nice time at Hobbycraft today. It was lovely not to have to rush around as I caught the bus there so could please myself!!

I bought 2 more packs of promarkers that I didn't have, some lovely Henbury Lane papers and lots of reduced items that had a further 30% off of them. Also got more fimo from John Lewis so will be making some more fimo charms tomorrow.

Whilst out got some bad news about a friend I was working with at the beginning of the year. He is 33 and just been diagnosed wtih bowel cancer. Feel so bad for him as he is one of the nicest people you could meet. This last year has been a terrible year - lost 2 good friends to cancer then my auntie was diagnosed and is receiving treatment and now my friend. Cancer seems to be affecting alot of people lately and it's so worrying that it seems much more common now.

    Evening,

    Congratulations *********** well done,

PONR It is terrible news, and it is a 6 letter word that can strike fear in everyone, you do seem to hear much more about it now a days but that can be because of medical advances and being able to diagnose sooner, on the upside the treatments are much more advanced now, dh was diagnosed with bladder cancer 2 years ago and and he is responding to treatment at the moment, I have everything crossed for your friend,

Hi everyone else hope your all well, thanks for the link to the creativity magazine, I got mine yesterday Sarah was featured in it this month, so I took it up to show her and have a coffee last night

    take care Jo x

I know what you mean. One of my friends husband has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer a year after losing his job. He is only in his 40's with two little girls.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts, felt abit down today so was glad I was out of the house really.
