I still need to do loads for the school fair on Saturday, I can see some late nights in my immediate future! I wish I didn't agree to do these because it actually puts me off doing my 'normal' crafting iykwimI Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0 -
thanks Ali, (& melissa) - its not that good, one months wages but they would have to give me notice too so technically I'd have pay for 2 months before I'd run out of funds. just got to see what happens but you're right its pointless being there that unhappy!
You're so right missus, life's too short. If you can get out of the situation and be ok financially, then go for it
Hello to everyone, it's blooming hot isn't it, I'm getting a bit bored of it now, my garden wants some rain:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Morning all!
Thanks to Scatty Jan for my little package today. Your hubby sounds fab treating you to some lovely things.
I've just blogged a couple more cupcake charm bracelets that I made yesterday and I've ust put them on my FB shop as well.
Gemm85 - hope it goes well for you tomorrow. I was once in a job that I didn't enjoy but stayed because I liked the people I worked with!! When they offered voluntary redundancy I didn't take it but just after the deadline realised I should of!! I knew they still needed volunteers so I spoke to a manager and applied for it! I must say I have never looked back!!! I travelled extensively and did all sorts of things I would never have done if I'd stayed in that job!! I think once you make a decision you realise that as one door closes another one opens. You would have abit of redundancy pay to live on whilst you decided what you wanted to do next! I think if a job makes you unhappy then it is time to move onto something else in life!
Hope your Icon Uk order arrives nice and quick. I was very impressed with them. I need to email them and say what sort of things we would like to see on their website as they have a shop full but won't be listing them online till later in the year!!!!
Congrats to another winner - whoops nearly typed their name then!!!
I've got a card that I need to get finished so will have a look at that later. Not for anyone in particular, just building up my supplies again!!!
Hope everyone has a great day and fab weather!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
thanks everyone
I have just had an update from IconUK - they have dispatched my promarkers already, I only ordered them at 10:30!! hope they come tomorrow0 -
Hi Crafty Cardmakers  Some of you know me from my blog and as a regular in the past on this thread.
I have just popped in to let you know of another craft shop site offering free postage (indefinately) StampMan . There also seems to be a sale section but I haven't checked it out to see what they have got (scampering off for a look there now). Hope it helps someone.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Afternoon all, sorry I have been AWOL all weekend been busy busy .... Spending money on new clothes for oh and I .... He has gone down 3 sizes in trousers and 1 size on tops, I have gone down 1 size on both but chuffed cause the new tops I have bought actually look good on me instead of being too big and baggy! I'm really chuffed with my loss and thanks for all of the support.
Well done to all of the winners I need to sort out a card for furry and a stash swap for Melissa (so sorry for the really late delay!)
gem I agree with the others, you were very unhappy there so may swell be out looking for something new which will give you a challenge! Try and push some of your crafts to sell of you can, you will be surprised that it does actually mount up. Also have a good clear out if you can, maybe get rid of some stuff on eBay which will also bring money in. also look at mystery shopping, they can be few and far between but they are generally good to do and this gives me my own money now I am not working! Chip up, you will get through this and probably will realize it is the job which has got you so down in the first place without even realising!
Can't remember what else I have read, but thanks to lei for the images, they arrived today, posty said they have been sat at the sorting office!
My spendy elves were out last week, ordered new echo park papers, pearl pens, honey pot stamp which rainmac has and I love and some other bits and pieces! All of which are here and haven't been touched as yet! got to be hush this weekend with packing as we are going away again this weekend camping!
Hopefully will have time to get on later but have loads to do, spent all morning whilst dd was at nursery ironing ... The good news is that over the weekend I haventbeen in half as much pain, not sure if it is due to weigh loss or just having several good days but on.y taking painkillers once or twice a day!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I am having to wait in all day today for a delivery and thought i would get on with house stuff or card making but i hate waiting for things and am not getting on at all.
I have had a nice little order come from crafts superstore that i am stroking and that is passing the time lol
Gem told you, you should def start to push your crafts more, it's hard as crafts fairs have the outlay of the stall and sometimes i think is it worth it but you have to get your name and face on the circuit and orders will start to come in.
On the last one i did the jewllery lady next to me did a bomb. One woman bought 3 things from her most likely at £20 a piece and another comissioned her to make something she liked on the stall but in a different colour.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
