Making cards - Ideas for beginners (part 4)

What you are after is double sided cardstock.
All scrapbook stores sell it so google one for your postcode as there may be something nearby.
Failing that they all post in pizza boxes to get it to you safely.
My hobbycraft sells it too, have you tried there?
Thank you! x
Gonna try internet first, then see if hubby fancy taking me places ( I dont drive)0 -
Padster - Found this the other day and completely forgot to mention it. It is a code for a free trial pack of the digital card from craftwork cards and I just did a dummy basket and it accepted it so obviously still works. If you are placing an order may be worth giving it a go but I'm not sure how much you get. Looks like you had a fab time even if you did need body armour. X0

Good morning everyone!
Up bright and early, As DH returns to Worcester for work, already done some chores even!
Just popping on to say Hi and say I noticed yet another winner (might be winners!) here!
Congrats to all the winners (possibly not Germany but they did deserve it in the end... tho' let's get with the technology for next time blind linesman!!)0 -
Paddingtondoo - looks like you had a good spend after your stash diet - I bet it felt really good! I pn the other hand need to diet after my stash binge of the last few weeks! Maybe I'll start it next week as there's a few more things that I want to get!
Greenpixey - there's a few firms that sell double-sided papers. There's My Minds Eye - their new range of papers is in the sale here:

and if you spend over £10 just quote the code "saving" and it will deduct the postage. Another range of double-sided papers is by October Afternoon - this store sells a huge selection:

Morning ladies. I got back last night from a fab girly weekend in Edinburgh and am now back at worl so absolutely no crafting from me for ages.
Congrats to all the winners, I just can't get myself organised at the moment to enter challenges but you are all doing so well!
I still need to do loads for the school fair on Saturday, I can see some late nights in my immediate future! I wish I didn't agree to do these because it actually puts me off doing my 'normal' crafting iykwim.
Have a great day everyone.0 -
morning all, its only 11am and my elves have already been on 2 spending sprees this morning! would have been a third but there appears to be something wrong with crafts u love website (they have extended free shipping to midnight tonight - and there I was thinking I had managed to restrain myself!!)
have ordered some promarkers from icon UK to try and expand my pitiful collection and also some jewellery stuff from ebay. when crafts u love is working I am going to get some different ink pads...
I'm trying to cheer myself up because I had a phone call last week from my team leader to say theres going to be an announcement about the re-structure tomorrow at 10am - and did I want to go in for it or they would get someone from HR to visit me and tell me about it.
after thinking it over I have decided to go in and listen to it, at least that way i know I'll be hearing the exact same thing at the same time as everyone else and there wont be any chinese whispers.
I'm in two minds about taking voluntary redundancy (if there are any, which i'm sure there will be) as after being away from that place for so long I realised how unhappy it was making me so I dont know if I can face going back anyway. on the other hand not having any income until I find another job really scares me (what would my elves say??)
anyway rant over, I am going to try and enjoy the sunshine today from indoors and not think about tomorrow until the morning (can't sit out as I will burn to a crisp) have a great day everyone what ever youre up to!0 -
Gemm - hugs to you - I hope tomorrow goes ok - if you have been there a while you might get a good settlement??? If that is still an option you would like to take - if its making you unhappy maybe fate will intervene and something better will come along ((hugs))
Dragonllew- been to wilkinsons and got my bottle tops - and had ago in the big shot - brilliant result - thankyou!!0 -
thanks Ali, (& melissa) - its not that good, one months wages but they would have to give me notice too so technically I'd have pay for 2 months before I'd run out of funds. just got to see what happens but you're right its pointless being there that unhappy!0
