    Hi all,
I know this is a little off topic but I know some of you ladies also make your own jewellery. I have recently started making my own jewellery but am using hubbies pliers etc at the mo, can any of you multi crafting ladies advise me on the best tools to buy for making my own jewellery?. Do i really need to by an expensive set or are the cheaper sets on ebay just as good?
I know there is a jewellery making thread on here but it is nowhere near as popular as this one.
    Thank you
Correction title should read jewellery making tools/pliers

I'm not much of a jewellery maker but I just use a normal electricians pair of snip thingy's to cut wire but I did buy a pair of round nosed pliers for a whole £1.99 from eBay - seem fine to me - yes I am a cheapskate.

I watched the first bit of the football then took advantage of the quiet roads and lack of queue and went to Tesco :D Needless to say OH will be German on Sunday :rotfl::rotfl:

I need some help, lovely ladies. :D

I've been asked to make a first communion card and I remember somebody posted some links to a site where they had lots of religious style of digi stamps.

PS rainmac you were dead right about my creative writing, DH wanted to know if No: 7 was wishful thinking :rotfl:

    Hiya

I have bought all of my pliers off of ebay or at a local cheapo place and they are fine and I have had them quite a while now. I would get a pair of cutters, a pair of round nose pliers (for making loops), and something like a more general pair like chain nose pliers. You can pick up sets on ebay quite cheap and they will be fine to use.

Pointofnoreturn - cutting edge crafts sell stickles - the normal bottles are £1.85 - you might get them a few pence cheaper elsewhere, and they sell the distress stickles for £1.99 which are a great price - postage is free!

I think they are the same company as the address for them both is the same have ordered from both and would throughly reccommend them really fast service and if you just need stickles there is no minimum order as thats all I needed last time and it cost them almost th price of the stickles to send it .

Morning all. Crafty ju ju I'm with you! A size 16 would be nice! It's just a he'll of a long way there for me!

Dtb managed to order 2 viva earl pens last night! And some other bits I really shouldn't have but I don't care! Hope you are feeling better!

Well my OH was stood outside union square at 5am queuing up for the new apple Iphone! I think he is crazy? He is 9th in the queue still now? But the couplle in front of him have been there since 3am! I wouldn't mind but he wants a white one which they haven't brought out yet! But least I get a new phone when they do cause he said I can have the black one when the white ones come out! He's only had this old iPhone for a few months, a jan I think? More money than sense springs to mind!

Hope everyone is ok? I'm going to go shopping to look at the calorie details on the packets of food! Exciting eh!
