    Hi everyone
had a bit of a hectic week, the house we are buying has caused us a little upset and we are not sure we may be going ahead - our surveyor went round and then let us know it had featured on a tv programme!! with the wonders of the internet we were able to watch it OMG!
Craftygranny thank you so much the postie has just been (will pm you) xx
I havent read back yet, spent a little while blog hopping yesterday - I am having a well deserved me day today and finishing some half done cards that were started before all the drama of the house
    Love to you all
    xx

Ooh Scatty - what type of programme was it featured on and was it really bad - I'm intrigued now! Hope that it wasn't too bad and that any things that weren't good can be rectified easily. Maybe you can get them to do the jobs before you move in as part of the deal. Is this the house in Thornbury??

  • Sorry I am curious now as to what the TV programme was about?? Sorry to hear it has caused you upset!! xx

P.S I am imagining something like neighbours from hell or something like that!

Rusty - you are like me, I am very curious also!!! I never thought of neighbours!

They could use it to their advantage to get it at a very much cheaper price ;) think some would call it blackmail, but I call it gentle persuasion or moneysaving :D

    There's a a sale on here:
    http://www.everymomentmatters.co.uk/index.php
there's nearly 35% off everything - I bought some creatables dies (a swirl and a flower one), the swiss dots embossing folder and the chipboard to match my delovely papers - I'm sure she's mispriced it as its only 49p. Postage is a bit steep though but I was going to order the dies yesterday from cutting edge crafts so I'm glad that I waited.

I'm also chuffed with myself today!!! I hadn''t weighed myself on the wii fit for 6 days because I was fed up with it all but I decided to go on today and it says I have lost another 4lbs!!!!!! I've got another 1lb and then I'm classed as overweight rather than obese - lol!!!!!

Dragonllew - I looked at the site last night and noticed a few similarities!!!!

CraftyJuJu - gorgeous cross stitch picture - I love the wooden frame too, and your strawberries look delicious!

Rusty - my OH keeps nagging me to look into getting the i phone as my contract is up - I don't think I'll bother though, it does look fab but I'm not sure I'd use the functions enough.

Gemm - thanks for reminding me about the free postage at crafts u love!

Nici - good luck on your weight loss - my biggest change is that I'm now eating breakfast and lunch - whereas before I would skip them and just snack! Thanks so much for my gorgeous ATC - would you mind if I sent you one of my cards instead as I'm really struggling to find an image that will fir on an ATC - please forgive me!!!!!

ScattyJan - sorry to hear about your house problems.

Our surveyor has noted she could not gain access to part of the loft as it was secured .........in the programme they featured this part as one of the parts having been put up sooooo bad

Yes they could do that - wonder if the people have had a problem selling thehouse due to the fact it was on tv??

Oh dear Scatty - I was just watching that programme on tv. Are you still going to go ahead if so I would definately think about changing your offer based on what you know. They've shot themselves in the foot really by putting it on tv.

Oh no Scatty, don't make any hurried decisions, take a deep breath and investigate further.

I received my Joanna Sheen voucher for the Passion for the Promarkers challenge and have just had a mini spend up and not spent a penny! I've ordered pearls, brads, doilies, a stamp set in the sale for 99p... great fun!

Mel, I got the email from Every Moment Matters too but I can't really justify spending more at the mo, if she'd have had the delovely 6x6 pad then I would have done ;) Huge well done on more weight loss :):):)
