Rusty - your Father's day card is fab - love the yellow.

For Rusty and anyone else there's some ticket sentiment here that you can print off:
    http://aloadofoldblogocks.blogspot.com/2010/05/ticket-sentiments.html

Thankyou Melissa, I had downloaded these ones, I was certain I already had them but needed a quick reminder on where I put them on the PC! I printed out a few sheets earlier and changed some of the sentiments on there as some I won't use! They look great!

Hi everyone! Sorry to crash your thread! (sure you won't mind as you seem like a friendly bunch)
I'm looking at buying a paper cutting machine and need advice and opinions on the best. I was wondering if those of you who have them could PM me with information so I don't clog up your card making thread. Any information would be useful (size/price/uses/extras/add-on costs etc). I was drawn in by the craft robo but may consider other things if they are better?
    Thanks anyway! X

I have a craft robo and I love it, once you get the hang of the different basic bits you need to learn then it is well worth the money!! I have made a couple of different cards using it and also I sold all of my nestabilities (die cut shapes for cards) and my OH made me up a file of them all so the money I made off them went towards my robo! Worth every penny to me. I know Flourgirl has a silhouette and gets downloads with that, the sillhouette is the same as a robo but comes with different software. I have only ever paid for one file which cost me $0.99 and to be honest I could have made it myself and I still class myself as a basic learner with it! everything else I have found for free or been sent it!

Jo_Rouke - Fab card, welcome to the mad house! :j

Nicci - Sounds like you had a fantastic morning!! remember we are always here to natter :) keep your chin up!

Right I have just updated my blog with the new picture of my dads card, I did it on the same post here so I know some of you have already commented (thanks) but if you want to nosey I added 2 tickets and I think it looks great now!

Still need to make 3 more fathers day cards! think the black Gem idea will be a no go!!

Kaja - Welcome to the thread - I'm afraid I'm no use to you I've only just bought a big shot.

Nici - I hope your appointment went well this afternoon. A few years ago I bought myself loads of stuff to make lip balms, bath bombs etc for xmas! It cost me a fortune and I gave up after a few attempts and went back to card making!

Jo_Rourke - welcome to thread!! Your card is fab - I love the coat hanger!!!!

Rainmac - I know what you mean - I'm following loads too. I got sick of writing down current challenges and then losing the paper so I thought this way I'd be more organised , plus it shouldn't take me long to update it each day! I'll try and add a few more blogs to it when I can.

Ali - Can't wait to hear your promarker tips!!!!

Rusty - glad they were of use to you - I haven't printed them off myself yet! I bought a couple of ticket stamps from Pink Gem and used them on a card the other day. I agree your card does look great with the tickets!

    Hello all :j

Rusty - super card and love the net idea.........brilliant :T

Made another card today -can't believe myself......:rotfl:
I only used some cut our cheese from another card and stuck it on a card I did with part pastel pattern and part wood effect (supposed to be a table) and cut the 'plates' out for the cheese to sit on............it's for a lad we used to look after who used to eat all the cheese in the house..............lol

Apart from that I've done another specs case and sewn some applique roses from an old top onto a cheapo pair of plain gloves............aiming for a cheapa christmas (apart from the scrapbooks which seem to be costing me the earth with ink, paper, and embellishments..........still, the kids will only get them once................lol:rotfl:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Melissa Thanks for the challenges, I might actually start entering some, if I can work out how to do it :o

PONR Can you PM me your address please

Rusty Warm weather holiday scuba normally for me, we thought it would be a good idea until I jumped in the water then thought  :D

Been playing trying to create homemade flowers, have had to resort to stamping some flowers and cutting them out. Does anyone know when the challenge runs until? have a week off after tomorrow so I am hoping on getting lots of crafting done

I have 100+ on my sidebar they come up when a new post is made on them with the header of the post - I write my challenges in a notebook a day to a page then cross them through when I've entered :D

Can't be faffed to sort them into days plus when I'm crafting I can't see my lappy so take the book to the table :D
