I have 3 loads of washing out and it keeps raining on them  it's not worth bringing in as it seems to stop after a few minutes and I don't have anywhere to dry 3 loads of washing.

DD off school today as she has croup again. Think it is only 3 weeks since she last got it but the bark started at 3.30 am and she woke with the temperature, oh joy.

People seem to be having problems with Paypal and I must admit I never check mine, perhaps I ought.

Someone mentioned a flower tutorial that they didn't get on with, think it was Rusty. I had a look at it and didn't really like the way it was done. The one I did on the gift voucher was from Dawn's site, I've done another on the one for the wedding that I need to blog. I'll need to go hunting for it if you want just holler.

I'm going away on Saturday for the best part of two weeks as I will be at the caravan with the children for a week. Home for a day or so and then off to Center Parcs for five days. I've thankfully managed to get the house tidy, not cleaned mind and made a mammoth pile of cards as have a lot of birthdays in first couple of weeks of June. Still need to do one for best friend, SIL, husband, new baby and new home aaahhhhh:eek:

Will have to admit that I have duplicated on a couple of cards for birthdays on here and also used a couple from workshps as have just run out of time.

Crafty, Louby & Glittermum postie on way, sorry a bit early for 2 of you but otherwise will not get posted.

Wanna B Rich Huge apology I did a packet for you ages ago and when I was looking for jiffy bags came across your packet in the bag of parcel wrapping stuff. I really am so sorry it is now on it's way to you and I can't even blame OH.

Rusty Package on its way to you with promised treat cups. Also wanted to let you know I printed off one of your pics of Maddison from facebook. When your package arrives you will see why but I just wanted to let you know and also to let you know that I haven't saved it on my computer and also won't blog it unless you are happy for me to do so.

Right off to get the wedding card on my blog and find that list that Toms Mom posted as I think I can enter it for a few challenges.

  • Only a quickie from me...

Ive spent all morning making 1 card :rotfl:
How on earth do you girls manage making cards that fit on multiple challenges ? Some of you do it all the time . Ive made one and blogged it that i managed to do 7 challenges. But it seems to of taken me soooo long !! I think it may of been quicker doing 7 different cards :rotfl:

It does mean ive not had chance to think about a theme for the next challenge..... So hmmmmm how about

    Make your own flower/s

You can make either a card or any other item as long as it has a homemade flower on it.
This can be any kind of homemade flower, so long as you have made it yourself.
With it being bank holiday,is it ok if the challenge runs until Sunday 13th June ? When i will get one of kiddies to pick a number and i will send a little prize.:D
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D

Wow thats taken ages to catch up again, note to self, must check out forum more regularly...

Jowri - congrats on the fab news you all deserve to be high as kites for as long as you like.
DTB - my stash arrived and its fab. I love the very oriental look to some of the papers. The die cuts will come in very handy as I have 3 pregnant friends at the mo and lots of congrats and then welcome cards to make for them.

I was being reasonably well behaved but then the spendy elves noticed a 25p sale over on madaboutcards so they escaped again. Its amazing how much a few 25p's can add up to :rotfl:

I know a few of you ladies have mentioned that you have been making things for craft fairs lately. I've been asked to do a craft stall for my sons nursery summer fete, but in true fund raising style that means I'm donating everything I make so it needs to be very very cheap! Please help me out with as many ideas as possible. I thought I'd make some post it note covers as I've already got some mini gel pens to put with them and plenty of paper and card. Childrens bead/elastic bracelets (after a slight mix up with my orders I have at least twice as many glow in the dark pony beads than intended!). Lip balm in mini jam jars decorated. What else is quick, easy and cheap?

    Hugs to all xxx

Sounds good choccy, I've just got the paper flower template in the latest DoCrafts goody bag so that gives me an excuse to actually get it out and try using it, lol.
I shall add that to my list of things to do....
(Might pop it in just above housework etc...)

Well i've been and gone and done it . lol. I went to the hairdresser this morning and had my hair chopped to shoulder length . Feels strange but everyone thinks it looks good. Not set foot in a hairdressers for nearly 30 years lol. I used to have a lady do it for me at home but since i moved i left it alone but got brave and went today. I hate going new places.

Hello kitty has gone to nursery this afternoon . God help any kid who tries to look too closely.

Has anyone ever used an online shop called Two Cats Crafts . It's run by a lovely lady called jackie and their service is fab . I used them for the first time the other day as i needed some hitch fasteners for something i'm working on . She rang me to let me know an item was out of stock and my order arrived next day so i could finish it . Brilliant. I hate waiting for stuff to arrive.

Well done for winning Choccy! Ooh the new challenge sounds good and I can play with my Retro Flower Punch x
Just wanted to say thank you to lei for the fab images i received this morning. I'll get yours in the post soon

    Glad they arrived safely! x
Lei just to let you know it is a cookie lol. It's under her pillow then we can't touch it now .

Haha I did wonder but then it looked really shiny so thought it might have been a ornament lol :o Oh well she is a lucky girl then as I bet it'll be yummy (if she can bring herself to eat it) x
ooh meant to ask does anyone remember the name of that first stall at the NEC in March, the one where she tried her hardest to rob us blind?? was it A1 crafts or am I being silly?

Rusty that name rings a bell.... x

Have not got on at all with my Tim Holtz distress inks they just end up looking like a splotchy mess, does anyone have any hints?

My recommendation is to buy a blender then to use that to fade the ink around the edges of a page (blend in lots of littel circles) x

Freebie teabag samples here, only a couple but free nonetheless, could use them for teabag cards ;-)

Hehe we had a meeting the other day and no-one drank the tea so I stole all the individually wrapped tea bags then had to explain why lol x

I've just updated my blog with the card i've made for OH's birthday today - it was kinda of rushed and I got soo frustrated trying to get it to look right x

Tired mom We spend £9.80 a week on milk (for three of us). DH stops at the off license down the road on his way home where 4 pints is £1.40. If I do an online order then Ill get the offers, or if I go into town I'll get the 2 for £2.50-but at 27 weeks I look more like 35 and I have cerebral palsy so I wasn't wonderfully mobile to start with.
Nici for the bead bracelets, could you use some seed beads? I used to do all kinds of beading but since Ive moved onto cake decorating I have a huge bowl full of seed beads that have become a gorgeous scratch patch (they all fell off a shelf one day and got all mixed up). If they'd be of use I'd be happy to post you some.
Rainmac thanks for the tea links. Mums coming from South Africa for baby born in August. She LOVES tea-so it's got me on a "thank you for coming" spree...a hamper of sorts with bits she likes:)
