Wifey I have found a tutorial for you on You Tube, although how the woman did it with the fake nails she is wearing god only knows!!
We used exactly the same method only we used a needle and thread to put a stitch in the underneath at every turn to keep it together

    here good luck

Thanks flourgirl I remember those from millinery school but they never layed flat, did yours? We would cover wired stems with yards of bias cut satin and make them into hat decorations or buttonholes and posies.

sending you hugs, you should write a letter of complaint about that horrible man

have you been back to Tamworth recently,we are looking for places to eat, hubby also pointed out that the hobbycraft store is close to the HIE so it would be rude not to visit

:grouphug: Nasty man, wonderful bedside manner, NOT! How on earth does he expect any weight loss if you are having difficulty even walking. You've got every right to be pi**ed off with him. Has he got a brother who's a doctor and lives in Essex? Mine had a moan about my weight, he forgets all about reaching for a large dose of steroids whenever I complain about being wheezy.

Rusty, there's such a lot of black dotty shading on the camera that you probably wouldn't need so many greys, perhaps going over it a second or third time in places to darken will help.

Oops forgot to say option 2, with option 1 tied and on not matted

Rusty sorry your consultant wasn't more help I love the way they say you need to lose weight if it was that easy we would all be skinny little things wouldn't we! I prefer option 1 as well.

Just popped on to say that I've got another new blinkie on my blog. I made the top 5 over at Meljens Designs, so am really happy, it's made my week.

I don't like this new forum - couldn't get the pages to load yesterday and not liking the look of them today!

Giggle - I love your girls gifts.

Craftygranny - hope your joints improve soon.

Tiredmom - good luck with the physio

Tomsmum - love the cards on your blog, they're gorgeous.

OAP - hope you feel better soon

    CraftJuJu
    - more stunning jewellery, tried to comment, but blogger was being naughty and wouldn't let me, but will try again.

Scattyjan - well done on the house/s and your weightloss. I'm really sorry I don't think I'm going to have time to make a card for your challenge - seem to be having one of those weeks.

Dragonlew - lovely tent card, I love Tilda's gold shoes and gloves, did you use the tutorial from Simonsays stamp or another one? I used the one from SSS and nearly got caught out with the folding on the base, which would've been a disaster for me as my card was single sided and it was the only sheet I had.

Rusty - design 1 is fab. Sorry your consultant was so heartless and rude. I sometimes think they forget they're dealing people who are already suffering and often depressed, without having insensitive comments thrown at them. I hope you do well in the next few weeks on your diet and can give him a victory salute.

Thanks I did try to follow the tutorial on SSS but like you found it wasn't very clear about the base prob why my first one wouldn't stand up straight and ended up in the bin lol

Glad it wasn't just me then! I'm definately going to make another one, my SIL saw the one I'd made and asked if I'd make her god daughter one, she's offered to pay me as well, but I've never sold a card, so wouldn't have a clue what to charge!

Meant to say good luck with your holiday prep and seeing the OT at work.
