Hi everyone - its been soooo hot here! I look like a patchwork quilt of pinkness after sitting in a beer garden with my friend all afternoon... I know pink is my fave colour but its not really a good look!! heres hoping it goes brown!

sorry to be off topic but I need to make up a 60th birthday hamper for my friend to give to her stepdad and wondered if anyone could give me any ideas of what to put in it!! Or anything I could 'make' - she wants to spend up to £20! She's already given me a 60 slogan t-shirt and some sweets that look like pills!

I seem to remember someone doing a load of things which I think were for a 40th one but maybe could be adapted for 60th? but can't remember who did it can anyone remind me please - have been having a look on blogs but can't find it now! Thanks in advance if anyone can help me please - gotta have it made for weds and hoping to pop to shops tomorrow if I can!

Hello ladies.. looks like most of you are off line, I have not long got my keyboard and mouse working.. so able to have some contact..
Hasn't it been a gorgeous weekend.. we had a barbie yesterday and today which has been lovely.. can't believe the temp is forcast to drop over the week.. :eek:

Farmville I have been able to leave comments on blogs even though I haven't got a blog myself.. if you go to the bottom of someones blog, say Rainmacs there should be a post comments (atom) from what I can remember of how I did it, if you press on that you can open an account which is free but allows you to comment. I have a google account myself, can't remember whose blog I used to open mine, but it has worked.. before that I was only able to comment as anon on those blogs that had facility...

Thanks guys, I have no idea what posessed me to give her my make up but she had fun which is all that matters I guess I didn't think of the possibilities of allergic reactions etc, which thankfully there have been none!!

It's cloudy here, but not sure if it is just a sea fret as it is really warm still!! joys of being so close I guess, on a cold day when the sea is rough you can head the waves crashing!! .... I love living here! best move I ever made!

I am back to physio today with questions to be asked, I have been up most of the night in pain, only thing is the actual pain has moved from leg to back initially but now my right leg is starting with the sciatica and I am going to be driven crazy if I don't get answers from either physio today or back with consultant tomorrow. Does anyone know who you can get help from if you have to have an op of some kind? would I have to hire a childminder to pick and take kids to school/nursery etc?

up fairly early myself - looks like another glorious day here! Have been busy and made dinner already - its in the slow cooker! Need to get out and about to try and sort out this 60th hamper - off to blog hop & web search to try and find ideas!!
