Well, thanks to Hassy I went to Hobbycraft yesterday, I was there for 8.45 and there were about 40-50 people before me in the queue , but I did get some of the cheap promarkers and came away with a goody bag too - not sure it was worth £20, but it had some useful bits in :D

Can't find my camera - gggrrr. Did have a lookfor it but ended out cleaning the cupoboard under the stairs and I don;t want to get tricked into that level of tidying again.

So I'll ask this question without a picture which may make things difficult.

I'm making a sweeti hamper for my BIL in a craft box. You know, the ones with compartments and a handel. Its just bigger than A4 size. I want to put some writing on the front but should I
    s) do it so the wrrting is the right way up when its being carried with the handle or
    b) do it so the writing is right way up when the box is laid on the table about to be opened?

I know this isn't really card making but I thought I'd confuse the people on the hampers forum. They're probably not used to understanding my explanations as much as you guys are.

I've been having another play with my cricut and have done something very exciting but I'm determined to find the camera so I can show rather than try and explain that one.

Actually, its probably not that exciting for normal people - but I think it is.

Phew - all washing and ironing done - only got a bloomin' blister from ironing - I knew it was bad for your health!!! Missed most of the lovely sunshine because of that - so a bit cheesed off - not to worry - hopefully will be sunny tomorrow!!

bunbun - hope you are feeling better soon xxxx
marg - sounds like you had a fab time at the football and big congrats to your team - I have never been to a football match (lived a sheltered life;))
gemm - ooh cant wait to see your before and after garden pics
dtb - I think I would label it depending on how I am going to give it (iykwim) i.e. either flat or standing up - (I know what I mean in my head - but it isnt sounding right!!)

Thanks Ali - I've done it so it's right when flat on the table but then worried I should have done it the other way. Think I'll stick with it as it is.

Right - I'm going to find that camera if it kills me (and one of my crocs which has gone missing too) Maybe they're both in the same place- stranger things have happened!)

DTB - Do you think he will carry it around? if not, go for writing so he reads it as he goes to open it, my guess it will be put on a table so same answer applies.
(sorry I'm too late with this!!)
ali.b - you've got time yet! I've only ever been to 3! The first one a freeeezing cold home game and when they all stood up I thought it was home time 'cos I'd been talking, but they'd scored! :D My second game was in 07 last time the 'pool went to Wembley and the only time I've been wetter is in the shower! And third time lucky was yesterday when I'm sure some will have got sunstroke!

Skiergirl, rainmac, gemma & choccy - on behalf of BFC thank you for your congratulations! (Mr marg isn't so much of a fan - he's only been to 4 games! - it's my brothers & nephews who are BFC footie mad)

Can you tell I've still not simmered down? I too have done all my ironing - I can't sit in the sun if there are jobs to do - I'm out at a band concert tonight so I guess no card making will get done!

Marg - lol. Enjoy band practice - do you play an instrument???

    Hello all :j
Not enough time to catch up on all your work and blogs but what I've seen is brilliant -as usual :T
Just got back from Devon -coach trip -9 hours -so feeling a bit jaded since Friday. Still, it was well worth the early mornings for the days out...........nice now to get a lie in.
Warm weather is nice but bit too hot for me - I tend to wilt somewhat.
Back to some sort of normality and need to make some notelets for a friend who's running out of hers fast.:)
    Take care all.............;)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
